I'm happy for the alumni sale too. Glad I went to those first couple festivals. Just needed to make the finances work with the holidays and everything.

The new ticket queue was pretty bad. Tried to get in for alumni and had to wait in the queue for 45 minutes. By the time I got in I could only get 1 alumni ticket and the other at tier 1 prices.
Allowing only 15 minutes for alumni was a bad idea, they should do it the day before or at least several hours since they didn't verify alumni status until you completed your purchase.

Pretty sure they did this because they didn't actually want to offer many passes at the alumni rate.
Makes sense if they sold out too. I'm honestly surprised prices didn't go up more
Because people expect it? They already said this is the last time that the OG alumni people will have that benefit; wouldn't surprise me to see them move away from having alumni passes at all.

I missed hearing that about this being the last time the og editions qualified. That was a nice perk for me personally so that I could skip off years.
I also attended the first one and liked having the OG alumni status. I keep saying I won't go again, but then they do things like book Soulwax and I return.
The 2ManyDJs live set is a nice addition but I'm so bummed about no Soulwax. I hope Soulwax gets added to the fall CRSSD or otherwise plays a make-up date in SD. (Primavera L.A. would be nice, too.)
Same as ever, but it was packed. security was extra strict when I went in. They were even checking shoes. The only real difference was that there were way more hand soap stations.
Telepopmusic and Nora were the best of the day. Telepopmusic played a mash up of breathe and fade to gray by Visage which was a nice surprise.
