Ok so I am going to type out a post on what I think we should do before bed here.
As far as I see things there is only two possible votes that I think are acceptable in this situation. I do not have a preference in which one town does although I would like for Rummy, Potent, and I to be on the same page as I feel without some unity from the confirmed townies mafia will definitely win the game.
For context I'm pretty sure it's safe to assume that right now we are either in a 3M/4T (if viking was town) or a 2M/5T situation (if viking was mafia).
First, is voting off zig. Regardless of what your opinion is on zig vs viking this is a safe vote. It guarantees town at worst a 2M/3T come day 4. With a vote on zig town knows exactly what they will be heading into day 4 - it is low risk, low reward. I feel like this vote would be beneficial for town to take because it will provide some stability from the chaos (or as Thor would call it "nonsense") that has plagued this game from day 1. On day 4 from a strictly subjective viewpoint it would be wise to vote SFA off which brings up a con to voting zig off today - and zig has already mentioned it. It most likely will cause a 1M/2T situation where I will likely be the swing vote. This obviously will not sit right with some of you as I am the noob. While I have faith in my abilities there is no denying that being the swing vote in that situation is not easy - even for the more experienced players. All in all voting zig off will put us in a situation where for the first time in the game where town puts a stop to all the confusion but, at the expensive of most likely putting a town victory in the hands of a noob.
Second, is voting of SFA. Unless viking and zig are both mafia (which kdogg was hinting at) SFA is mafia. Voting off SFA makes day 4 either 2M/3T or 1M/3T depending on if viking or zig is mafia. While the numbers certainly could favor town more than voting zig off, the town would be entering day 4 with still a lot of confusion. If town gets a wrong lynch on day 4 with this method than mafia wins. The thing that worries me about this is that there are disagreements within even the confirmed townies on who the mafia are/who to trust. If we choose this method you can be sure that mafia will continue the confusion that has plagued the game thus far (and potentially have it lose us the game). On day 4 (once again from a purely subjective view) carini would be the lynch given the vibe that town is giving right now. Now while I don't deny my suspicions of carini town would have to think long and hard if we believe that carini is scum (because if we are wrong we lose). Assuming town makes it to day 5 I - once again - would probably end up being the swing vote (something tells me mafia wants this). All in all this vote will potentially put town in a better situation but it will continue the confusion and town is forced to be correct or else we lose - not to mention the possibility of me once again being the deciding vote. One final thing to mention about this vote is that is guarantees zig will stay alive the rest of the game. That's either a pro or con depending on what you believe.
Those are the two people I think it would be best for town to vote for. As of tight now carini is sitting on two votes by the confirmed townies. Here is why I don't think this is a good idea...
If Zig is maifa WE LOSE. I don't want this game to end without a fight from town - voting off carini today, in my opinion, is a lazy move by town. He may very well be mafia and zig may very well be inspector but I'm not willing to bet the whole game on it. Rummy and potent, all I ask from one townie to the other is that you please consider switching your vote to something that allows town to continue on with the game and have a fighting chance. I can understand why you may be wary of voting off zig or SFA and potentially give a noob the deciding vote but I'd rather lose because I'm an idiot rather than because we all made a lazy move. Again, I'm willing to hear legitimate push back to my opinions here I just would hate for the game to end today because we spun the revolver in Russian roulette. Voting carini off is high risk high reward (too high risk for me). On the bright side if town doesn't lose after voting carini off than zig is confirmed inspector (and that's the only bright side I can think of to this vote). All I'm asking is that you both legitimately take my point of view into consideration before keeping your vote on carini.
Also before I go to bed SFA or Zig are the only two poeple my vote will be placed on today. Voting for carini is too risky for me to consider today (the rest of you may feel differently).

Right now I'd prefer you to move to SFA to see who he picks between Zig and Carini. SFA, rumored mafia, would have to choose between rumored inspector/possible mafia Zig or rumored mafia Carini. I'd be interested to see which way he went.

I will check in before 12 noon tomorrow. If I feel that I need to move my vote, then I will. But for now, Carini has done enough to rouse my suspicions that I feel good with my vote resting there. That doesn't mean I don't want SFA dead. Or that I definitively believe Zig. Just that I'm gonna give it some hours.

Danbob, the move you call risky, voting off Carini, I agree, would look risky from a town perspective, although by killing off Carini, that leaves all 3 of Viking's accused in the game heading into Day 4. If we moved to Day 4 and are still playing, it would confirm that Viking was lying.
From my view, that would be the risk of voting out Carini.

Yeah it definitely is a huge gamble from my view. If we move to day 4 after voting off carini you are essentially confirmed as inspectors however if you are mafia we lose outright. Just something for town to consider before. I assume you would rather us vote SFA considering your locked vote?

I am fine with either SFA or Carini. If the town goes in either of those directions, I will be on board.

And if that's what he chooses I'll weigh accordingly. The belief that ZIG and Viking are mafia is predicated on Jaz being inspector which I find dubious at best.

I guess it's time to put my vote where my words have been. I find the dueling inspector theory to be specious and therefore SFA has to be mafia. I tend to believe that ZIG is inspector, despite other's claims. It's time to pick one side or the other.
I'm getting on a plane to Las Vegas in a couple hours. I won't be on my personal computer again until Friday morning. Forgive me if my posts lack clarity and my responses are a tad slow. kdogg, feel free to post tallies if I'm late. You can even add the noob ref tally back in.
