Potent is the only one that really has to lock for it to end, right? Something tells me Carini and Mike D have not come this far to suddenly switch their vote onto Potent when that would make literally no sense at all.

Well I told myself that I'd play until I was inspector, and I've played or ref fed every game since Feb 2015 I believe. Alas, a hectic travel schedule keeps me occupied over the next two weeks and I'd be a bad player and worse ref. This is probably a good time to self-impose a one game ban.

It was a highly entertaining game from my pov. I just wish I didn't get neutralized so early. It was better to just stay quite and keep just a glimmer of hope that left that I wasn't lying about the double-fake. What's funny is a left a bunch of knowingly wrong shit in my posts to argue with Viking about but we didn't even use it.

1) I was all aboard the distrust-Viking train (read: and in general, still am) until zig began coming off as just too suspicious/off for me to ignore. As Potent and I both recognized, it easily could've been either one of them as Mafia, down til the very end. Both were acting odd to me.

Yeah, yeah, yeah... I said I'd apologize to ZIG. My read on him might have been wrong in hindsight, but his gameplay was so shady I couldn't help but doubt him while the game was in progress.

Part of making a case is being correct, but you completely forgot about winning people to your side. Basically everyone you insulted got whacked and made you look like Mafia. Staying silent when Viking revealed and was one of two candidates in a runoff sure as hell didn't do us any favors, either. Your silence there cost us a round and spilled Town blood... for what, so you could finish your Star Wars fanfic trilogy instead of just being out with it? And dropping it shortly after Mafia had themselves an extended discussion? Christ, you couldn't even get yourself whacked by teasing a correct guess on the third Mafia ahead of time.

This is exactly why you are terrible at this game. You looked at the most insignificant crap in a game and can't look at anything else. Based on this alone, it wouldn't have mattered when I revealed my role, you probably wouldn't have agreed with me. I could tell after my reveal that no matter what I said, you weren't going to believe me. During the game, I went back and looked at how many questions you were asking Viking about his reveal compared to how many questions you were asking me. You asked Viking maybe 5 or 6 direct questions. You asked me over 20. You clearly had no objective to look for the correct info. Your mind was made up about me.

Damn, this trio bucked a lot of trends. I suggested Mafia goes after the Inspector 80% of the time, they threw out a totally unrelated red herring. I suggested Mafia goes 2-to-1 for the winner of a Day One vote, they had ZIG & Rothric on the losing side of it. I thought there was something funny about the Potent stacking in that first runoff, but it was actually the ZIG (for whom Potent had voted) end of it. Only Bun met my criteria of the five I called out on that behavior. Situation did have my doggy senses tingling, though... there was an Inspector mixed up in there, too.

Different roles, same situation. You come into games with your own set of expectations of how certain roles should be played. In Mafia 90, you believed Mafia had to play a specific way. Rothric and I used your Kdogg logic against you for a pretty easy win.

Shitty Inspector? I had 2 of 3 Mafia going into Day 2, and the 3rd Mafia down to 2 candidates. I was mean to you because you were playing with a clear bias against me. It wouldn't have mattered what I told you, you weren't believing me. And look at my posts from Day 3 and 4, I wasn't mean to a single player. I answered every question respectfully. My name calling was directed at you, and to a small extent Danbob because he jumped onto your train of thinking.

More delusions and bullshit. You didn't have to twist my arm. I switched my vote to Viking right away when you brought it up during the game. You didn't do the same to Viking in the same situation. That's clear bias. And this wasn't what set you off on your "double fake reveal" theory. You're just trying to make new excuses for going down that rabbit hole. Again, more bullshit. Go back and read the game, the town overwhelmingly agreed to kill Thor instead of Viking on Day 1. Jaz was one of the few dissenters. The fact is, several players said that if Viking is alive on Day 2, we have to kill him, but then when Day 2 came around and Viking was still alive...
My thought process is, if Viking is faking inspector then the inspector is still out there and consciously taking the risk they will not be whacked. That's fine with me.
Assuming the inspector is someone else and they manage to survive and reveal next round, we can then determine either that Viking is inspector or Mafia.
I played exactly how the inspector should play. Stay silent as long as possible to gather information, and reveal only when you believe the town is going down the wrong path or if you believe your role is known by Mafia. I had hoped the town would realize that Viking was alive and would be a quick Day 2 kill so I could stay hidden, but unfortunately, you and Danbob were chasing the town down the wrong path (seems to be a common theme).

Even more bullshit. Clearly you don't understand Mafia tactics. Once I revealed, there was very little chance they would kill me. If they had killed me, they would have confirmed I was inspector so I was going to live unless the town killed me. And go back and read my original reveal. My guesses were accurate.

Viking, I honestly don't think it would have mattered. I came out before the initial runoff on Day 2. If I recall, Day 2 started on a Friday and i revealed Saturday morning. I used that little bit of time from the start of Day 2 until my reveal to see how people would react to Viking still being alive. Based on the Day 1 posts, I felt that the town would listen to my reveal, unfortunately, when I revealed, it didn't feel like anyone was willing to look at my information, and instead just wanted to blindly believe you.
For what it is worth, you damaged the town a lot more than KDogg did. Giving names is not the only part of the job. You have to do it at the right time and in a way that people believe. Again, your timing was crappy and your delivery was worse. Without you, we never succeed. Why do you think i turned OFF asshole mode at thatt point? It is not about who is right but who is right in the right way.
You can flame away but it just makes you look worse since you were the only one who could prevent it.
We neutralized Mike D, a strong townie early, whacked Jaz for the same reason plus he was making sense. Younhad to punch through the smoke screen or the town was doomed.
Potent I probably would have made that same exact vote day 5. Not a bad first game eh? I'm in for the next.
You played really well. The only advice i would give is that mafia lie. A lot. Strong convictions ans positi9ns are great, but you need to always be willing to back off and reconsider. Constantly reread the thread.
