I can't believe Seguin is already hurt again and I'm surprised they didn't do anything with the goalie situation but go Stars! They've got a real chance
The Bruins can at least get to 8th in the East, right?
Doubt it.
if Matchand and Bergy pick where they leave off in World Cup, avoid injuries, and one of your young up and coming goalies takes over for the "can't play big games" Rask, Bruins will be fine. I like the way their team is looking for the future.
Galchenyuk was left off the NA team because he only caught fire at the end of the season, and has yet to prove himself as a consultant star. Than and they already had enough crazy talent at Center. He's plenty fast, but known more fornplaymaking and a great shot.
Habs are in a very strange place. they could either be a strong cup contender, or just a low playoff seed. At least the weight is lifted from Price with Weber in front of him. "Should" lessen his work load but that remains to be seen. So strange things bubbling in the back ground tho. This is Therian make or break year. So much drama already with his supposed remarks about Patches, and then I've heard rumors of Pacoretty and Gallagher being traded to Tampa for Drouin and Kucherov.

I'm not worried about the productivity from Bergeron and March but the Bruins have an up and coming goalie?

Nichushkin back to Russian league. Really thought he was going to turn into something special when he was on the top line with Benn as an 18 year old. Luckily wing is not a problem for the stars particularly since they added Hudler. Jordie Benn and Oleksiak are still both purported top 6 defenseman for the team when neither should be expected to provide anything more than depth. Very happy with Klingberg, Oduya, Johns, and Hamhuis but if one of them gets hurt for any significant amount of time there will be major holes and mediocre goaltenders behind them.

Why is the Blackhawks/Predators game on Dec 29th such a ticket in demand? Looking at doing a Nashville-New Years trip. If you go for tickets at face value on the Predators website, it says tickets are only available for season ticket holders....secondary market has every ticket at $175+.
The week before that they host the Kings, not half the seats in the arena have sold. What am I missing?

Edit: I figured it out.
I imagine half the arena will actually be Blackhawk fans coming down to Nashville.

It actually has more to do with the Predators introducing a new ticket policy. For 5 select games (with one being against the Blackhawks), tickets are limited to season ticket holders and people who live in the Nashville TV Viewing area. Kind of silly, but the only way I will be able to do the trip is if I get this job in TN that I have been interviewing for. It says online the TV viewing area covers the whole state of TN, so I should be fine if everything falls in place.
Doesn't Nashville usually restrict ticket sales to Tennessee only when they play the hawks? I remember management getting really mad at hawks fans flooding the area. They do the same thing at nationwide but management doesn't care because our attendance is shit.
