Dude is back today with The Lumineers, The Neighbourhood, Freddie Gibbs, Silversun Pickups, Mogwai, Best Coast, Cut Copy, Esperanza Spalding, Saba, !!!, Steve Gunn, HÆLOS, and Shabazz Palaces. I'm growing more skeptical.
The user who leaked last year's lineup three days in advance is at it again:
Frank Ocean, Arcade Fire, Björk, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Travis Scott, At the Drive-In, Empire of the Sun, Weezer, Run the Jewels, Sigur Rós, St. Vincent, Ben Harper & the Innocent Criminals, Future Islands, Mac Miller, Foals, Spoon, Beach House, Air, Franz Ferdinand, Phantogram, Two Door Cinema Club, Bastille, Bonobo, Portugal. The Man, Local Natives, Flying Lotus, Real Estate, DJ Shaddow, The Growlers, Guided by Voices, Cloud Nothings, MØ, Japandroids, Whitney, Noname, The Revivalists, Deerhoof, and Maria Bamford, with more still to be revealed.
Take it with a grain of salt, but this user was 100% accurate last year.
If true: Frank, AF, Bjork, ATDI, RTJ, Sigur and Future Islands alone makes this in the running for best lineup of the year
Have you ever seen Dan Deacon? One if the worst shows I've ever been to, only had enough music for 30 minutes when he was given the headliner spot to play all night. Bleh
Anyways....this is sounding real good. Tomorrow well know if this is true?

Never had the pleasure of seeing him before. How long ago was your experience with him?
I've generally heard nothing but great things from his live set. Maybe he was completely off that night? Idk.

A pox upon ye, heathen! I've seen Dan Deacon seven or eight times and he is incredible live. It was either Bob Boilen or his co-host from All Songs Considered who said Dan put on the best show he's ever been to. I've seen Dan do a roughly 90 minute show and he has a bunch of albums so I'm not sure what happened in your case. That being said, his Bonnaroo show was a bit of a mess and I did see one other that was mediocre. He shines in tight little venues but I heard he killed it when opening for Arcade Fire. This is really all to say that you should give him another chance and for others to keep an open mind.
Even though the guy giving out the lineup proved himself last year I'm still holding my breath. If it turns out to be true it would be one of the greatest lineups ever released (for my taste) so I'm trying to keep my expectations in check. It feels way too stacked. People will be getting the video tomorrow so we'll know then.
Edit: From browsing the Sasquatch boards it seems like it's not 100% about Sunday. It will be out by Monday at the latest.

He closed out Utopiafest 3 years ago. The music is interesting but he literally would stop every 5 minutes to try aND get the crowd to do some random shit. Played 4 or 5 songs which he obviously just put together some other day and said "well, that's all the music I brought...I guess I'll play the first track again"
I thought he was pretty good too when I saw him which was Buku 14 I think. Me and Jabco were watching from upstairs in the ballroom. The music was pretty good in parts, but he was calling the crowd to do dance offs, tornadoes and stuff. People were participating so it wasn't bad even if it was a little campy.
Actually, that other dude shit on your dreams, like several days ago.
Perhaps, and very likely. Do you know that the whole "leak" is wrong, or just a few artists in it are wrong?
My bad, dude. FWIW, the person who posted the names on the Sasquatch forum has accurately leaked the lineup in the past, so it wouldn't surprise me if many of those artists still end up at Sasquatch. But yeah, it's pretty clear based on tour dates that this year's "leak" isn't accurate.
Hello! I'm a regular on the Sasquatch proboards and created an account here to check in with you all. You do a great job on here with other festivals, and I hope to catch some news on here about Sasquatch! This isn't all breaking news, but so far, we are expecting Frank Ocean, Bonobo, Band of Horses, Vancouver Sleep Clinic, Frightened Rabbit, and Vulfpeck and are feeling pretty good about Local Natives, Car Seat Headrest, and Foxygen. I will continue checking in throughout festival announcement season and hope we can share some information with each other!
Can you do something to make that board readable? It's like a poor man's Myspace. Very poor.

Hearts are gonna break when you realize this fucker is just Frank Ocean, Tom Petty, and the same main stage EDM and vanilla indie acts that have popped up everywhere.

In years past when there was a lineup release party, there were dedicated threads for freaking out the night of the lineup release. The lack of lineup party this year plus confusion about when exactly the lineup is coming (confirmed midnight PST) have caused the shit show to take over the whole board. I've barely been on the last two days because there is so much going on that has nothing to do with music. It should be back to normal tomorrow.
