Hangout 2018 (May 18-20): Sand in Your Buns

The documentary of The Hip's final tour went up on Netflix today..."Long Time Running"...the final show was the 2nd most watched broadcast in Canadian history...11.7 million viewers...crazy, and amazing that Gord pulled off that tour.

Can do it here, as alot of these bands would be great undercarders.  These are bands I've only seen once, but would suuuurrree ike to see again (in no particular order):  Neon Trees, River City Extension, Orgone, The Kooks, The Black Lips, Airbourne Toxic Event, Guided By Voices, Shinedown, Ra Ra Riot, Passion Pit, Of Monsters and Men, Bethesda, Space Capone, Icona Pop, New Found Glory, Supersuckers, Wolfmother, Janelle Monae, Ludacris, Veruca Salt, Steel Panther, Fishbone, Foster the People, The Growlers...Have more, but any of these would be great on the beach!

I don’t recall that they ever have played there.

Hoping to catch his show Wesnesday depending on what the family has going on.

Nice. I saw where the first night @ Wrigley sold out and they added the second. That will probably sell out too. In my mind they are currently the greatest rock band doing shows, bar none. I/we are thinking about doing the new Superfly event in Colorado if the lineup is acceptable. It’s going to be tough to do both that and ACL within a couple of weeks of each other, but we will see.

I saw this!  Excited for a spring run!  Hopefully they come back as strong as they were playing when they went on hiatus.  #fuckcancer
