Kinda agree with this one - it's not a bad booking, but it's not particularly exciting either. Still no inkling of any artists playing that put out a decent album in 2016, which is more concerning for me. Unless you enjoyed Starboy. I'm not convinced Chance will be on the lineup 100% yet.

To be fair, if Cage the Elephant had been the 3rd clue - we'd probably be saying "woot woot" ...but after 5 or 6 duds and the impending U2... I think we just aren't impressed with the "unique" factor

Hoping with them getting booked on all these fests, that it means Cage will have some new music out soon.
Matt told me they had intentions of putting out an album this year and played me some of it. He also told me they would be playing Coachella so I don't know what to believe anymore
I'm pretty excited about this. I've seen them before when they toured with The Black keys and really enjoyed their set. That was a stadium though. Seeing them at Roo would be a way more fun and close up atmosphere. It's at least a band I would definitely like to see. What a confusing ride the Roo Clues have been this year. They seem to be ticking back up at the end. Hopefully the next one will be even better!

And now the same people that have been bitching about how Bonnaroo has to go back to the way it used to be are bitching that they are bringing so many repeat acts back...from the way it used to be. Oyyyyy.

I've always wanted to see them but never got around to it. Been a fan since I heard "in one ear" on last.fm when they only had the self titled album. Just haven't really gone out of my way.

I've never seen them and I like their music, this is a win for me. They fall into the category of "I'd only see them at a festival and wouldn't go out of my way to see their own show" so this works.
The snap clue is probably a reference to the song 'Cold Cold Cold' from their newest album.

even though the most recent album is somewhat lacking, cage the elephant are a fantastic band and put on a stellar live show. not a rare get but i guess its one of the better roo clues so far.
