Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
The headliners will be fine anyways. It's the rest of the of the lineup we should be more worried about.
I wonder if RHCP are signs of repeat bookings to fill the legacy spot? If that's the case other Live Nation tours like Tom Petty could be on the table.
Tom Petty is not playing a "Live Nation tour." Almost half his dates are at AEG venues, he has a few nights coming up at Red Rocks (AEG owned), he just played Mountain Jam (an independent fest) this past weekend, and he is playing AEG owned Jazz Fest.
This is why when you bozos say things like "Live Nation package tours," I roll my eyes hard as hell and call it for what it is, message board nonsense. Very few acts do LiveNation only tours. Mostly just big time artists like U2. Jay Z just got a LiveNation only deal and it was a huge story.
I blocked you and truly don't care what you have to say, but I can only assume this is another attempt to argue. Find someone else to pester, please.

lmao you clearly did not block me if you still have the ability to quote my posts. What a dumb thing to lie about. Make believe must be fun though.
One Nation - the latest in live music -- concerts and tour news.
You posted a link to a livenation owned blog that runs stories about upcoming concerts and tours. That isnt a list of Live Nation exclusive artists, it is a list of artists they reported stories on previously. If you click on any of the names listed, it takes you to the news archive on that act. You may as well have posted a link to Pitchfork.

We should have some sort of tagging group where if there's a fight, the first person in the group to see it tags the rest of the group so they all get to see the fight live.

I'll just tag you in my responses to him instead from here on out.
LOS ANGELES, DEC. 9, 2016 – Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, one of the most iconic bands in American music history, have announced the first dates of their 40th Anniversary Tour. Tom Petty announced the tour on SiriusXM’s “Tom Petty Radio” this morning and also on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” last night: bit.ly/2giAGBr. The primarily U.S. tour, produced by Live Nation, will begin on April 20, 2017 in Oklahoma City and continues throughout the summer with more dates, including on the west coast, still to be announced.
Jay Z - Tom Petty ATHB - Arcade Fire - Gorillaz - Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Odesza - Solange
I don't know if I see Roo going with 3 repeat headliners. There's no real reason for them to book Petty a third time when there are still Fleetwood Mac-sized gets they could pull in.
Otherwise this would seem fairly realistic as long as you threw in someone like Young Thug and some shitty EDM after Solange
Drake - Twenty One Pilots - The Killers Martin Garrix - Weezer - Galantis - Wiz Khalifa Foster the People - Alison Wonderland - Grouplove - Prophets of Rage Post Malone - Capital Cities - Vintage Trouble - Rich Chigga - Superjam The Arch - Food Truck - Fountain - Bathrooms - Camping - Police Officers ft. Dogs - Uninformed and Slightly High Volunteers Intrusive Centeroo Searches - 24/7 Music until about 2-3am - Confusing Rules About Water - Low Volume Other Stage Comedy Tent - Bathrooms - Pulling Ticks Off Your Leg With Pliers - Dangerous Pit Line System - Mad Up On The Internet
I know mine had jokes but the lineup part is an honest prediction. Maybe I went a little too shitty on the headliners but I fully believe the top lines of the undercard will be as underwhelming as the above.
Afterwards everyone will be talking about how The Killers were actually pretty good and Weezer was the highlight of the weekend.

Are you implying Young Thug would be a poor booking?

Has the hype around 21P died off a little? Sounds like neither Hangout nor Firefly blew the doors off with them at the top of the bill. Maybe we'll be spared.

No, just that it's lacking popular contemporary hip hop

Hope so. What a gut punch seeing them on top of bills.

Just go to whatever thread Launchy is actively posting in...

I don't think we need to be so dire with these headliners. The top 8 was not that bad, albeit very different from past Bonnaroos. It's the rest of the line up that was a tire fire.

I couldn't remember the top 8 without looking it up. That's not a good sign.

They are doing a run of all the main concert venues here in Columbus, starting at The Basement (holds like a few hundred people) going all the way up to Nationwide Arena and The Schott and they sold out every one of them in like minutes. Granted they are from Columbus so that makes sense but the speed that they sold out kind of took me by surprise. There's no indication they are working on new stuff yet so I would think unless something new comes out from them, Bonnaroo would have no reason to book them.
Note: They did use that new ticketing system where you register to get a code texted to you and then you go online and get tickets at a certain time with that code. Supposedly it was to ward off scalpers but from everyone I've talked to that attempted to use it, it was an absolute nightmare and a ton of people were getting timed out of things halfway through the ordering process and things like that. So let's just hope that more acts and promotion companies aren't going to this model for tours of bands.
