Phoenix is a #4 that would make so much sense for this - broad appeal, haven't played this album cycle, LN relationship, etc. - stinks they're in Europe so close to the date
No. He literally cut out the last word of every single line of Humble and didn't even have a backing track complete the line. And almost all of those words are perfectly fine for TV.
The crowd was the backing track for a lot of that.
The crowd was mostly just a mosh pit and wasn’t singing along.

I was thinking Phoenix but started doubting it since they haven't shown up on any other lineups.
I couldn't tell if he was actually rapping. It all seemed like a recording to me.
I believe he was. At least for most of it, but there was backing track for parts of it. As said above, started a little rough but ended strong as hell.

With all this waiting it makes me wonder...
Will Bonnaroo chnage the way festivals operate?!?! Like..."Now introducing The Ultimate Festival Experience!!! Tired of lineup leaks and rumors spoiling your hype?!?! This year try the most extreme festival experience around(other than Fyre Festival). BONNAROO 2018! Now you won't know whose actually playing till you get there! All our sets are secret sets!"

I freaking love Phoenix but if Roo has come to them being considered a #4 then it's in worse shape than I thought.

The festival no longer sells out when people actually know the lineup. Changing their model to "trust us" is not going to improve sales.

Haven't they headlined Coachella before? Roo is a basically tier below Coachella now so I wouldn't be too haughty.

Not sure what you mean by all this waiting. This will be the earliest they've ever released the lineup.

I'd rather see them than Eminem that's for damn sure. My memory is foggy but I think last time I saw them at Roo was ? stage forever ago late day set... seen them at least twice since then in Nashville... marathon music works and also at the Ryman last year.

Yeah, they were a Which stage closer. (There was a LN Which set after them.)
