What's the deal with the Souvenir camping package. Is that a new option? Because for $100 extra a "free" tent and 2 sleeping bags to keep afterwards doesn't seem like too bad a deal on the surface. Now if only the entire event wasn't so overpriced but that's another argument entirely.
Edit: NM...ticket isn't included in the $575 price. Screw that nonsense!

For a moment I allowed myself to think “maybe this will be the finally be the year we stop arguing and finally agree that LiveNation is committing genericide on this festival” but that was foolish of me.
I'm completely confused by the headliners. I kind of get the killers, because memes... But Eminem sure isn't U2, and he's everywhere this year, and way past his prime. I guess Muse is the "unique"headliner? Is it just a matter of roo can't get people anymore?
The argument that Bonnaroo should book Bonnarooish headliners went away when they booked Dead and Co and nobody showed up.
LiveNation knows how to move tickets y’all!
I don't know about that. Since LN acquired a majority stake in Bonnaroo, the festival has averaged around 61,000 in ticket sales. Not terrible considering that includes 2016, but still a sizable drop-off from the pre-LN years.

If live Nation hadn't bought them, I wonder if roo would even sell that many. Not that live Nation made them better, but LN would probably have booked acts for its own festivals that popped up all over the place and blocked roo on a bunch of acts. The whole Fyre fest debacle didn't help either, since now everyone wants money up front. Sound on sound found that out the hard way. What killed Roo is all of us telling our boring mainstream friends how fun roo is. They gentrified our festivals with their sameness
Did Bonnaroo and Coffee County work out deal for festival to even happen this year? Last I saw on it was in November they were close but curious what terms were reached if it has been in fact settled at all.
