Speaking of the Migos, they put on the worst live show ever. They go onstage in front of thousands of people with all of their mics autotuned and rap over their own vocals. But a lot of their songs don't have autotune. So they'll basically play a song like Bad and Boujie, and they'll harmonize autotune over it while the DJ makes gunshot noises over the track. And the crowd will go crazy.
a bit off topic since it probably won't happen this year, but here is a short video doc I watched yesterday about future headliner Post Malone.
I honestly don't mind his success. he's a generally nice dude and watching him be such good friends with h3h3 makes me happy. that being said i won't watch post at any fest i go to, the only time i like when they book these acts is that the shows i want to go to will be empty. Foo are looking more likely with the announced 2018 Tour
I agree with the others, with the memphis date, kentucky date, and atlanta date, and also the TX/FL dates, I'd think that eliminates any additional dates in the southeastern US. The May 4 - July 6 gap is probably a scheduled gap so they can have some summer time with families.
I disagree with the disagreers. If that May date in Memphis had been originally scheduled, it would typically mean they are out for Roo, but that is a rescheduled date from a show 8 months in advance. If you look at their original plan, there would have been no TN dates anywhere near Roo, and a big convenient gap in the schedule.
Also, I don't know why they wouldn't have automatically announced a rescheduled date for the Nashville show along with the Memphis andLexington shows, unless there was some sort of complication with the Roo radius clause.
I think this strongly suggests they will be there.

This is probably true. Dave mentioned they'd be doing more tours but for shorter periods of time for this exact reason.

Didn't the Chili Peppers have similar dates last year? Their Roo headline slot was basically just worked in to their normal tour dates? Feel like it's the same for Foo's.

This would likely be the case except for, as stated before, the memphis and kentucky dates are rescheduled from ones they just cancelled. They also cancelled a Nashville show but haven't announced the rescheduling for that one, and while there are multiple reasons that could be, the most likely would be that they're playing Bonnaroo and thus can't reschedule it for that same time
With that Sweden date mentioned above - they're out. Along with that, they have Nashville, TN - Bridgestone Arena - TBA at the bottom of their tour page

Yeah just saw that and deleted my post. I'm a dumb.
In 2016, Pearl Jam played Lexington, KY at the end of April - which is close enough to mean the May 1 Foo Fighters date is not significant. To the extent it is, that's a rescheduled date as well. In 2012, Red Hot Chili Peppers played Louisville in June 2012, just a couple of days before Bonnaroo. They played Louisville in May 2017 this year. Louisville is about the same distance as Lexington. U2 played Louisville, KY the week after Bonnaroo this year.
I don't think any of the dates mean anything at this point except the original plan had no TN date anywhere near Roo and there was a convenient gap for Bonnaroo. Also, they have notably failed to announce a Nashville date despite automatically re-announcing two other dates. I think the tour dates, if anything, suggest they will be there.
