Catching up on this thread, I of course stumble upon this post exactly as that song starts on my Carolina Rebellion Spotify playlist. Quit creeping around my thoughts...
They specifically reference his plan to beta test the production with some East Coast US dates in March, with an eye towards festivals later in the year. Quite the June gap right now.
I think we’ll see some good crossover from that. I’d love queens who I believe are ruled out? Snagging Beck, incubus, and dhani Harrison would really make me happy though. Also did anyone notice the freaking ying yang twins on that lineup!?! Greatest episode of cribs right there. Sorry redman
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round

i think we will actually be getting garrix this year as one of our top two edm acts. not sure he has the production for it but seems to big for the other for sure
I don’t expect Beck to play but that would be amazing if he did. Would like to see Incubus, Explosions in the Sky, and Martin Garrix as crossovers. Defietnly think Highly Suspect, Cigarets after Sex will be at Roo. Moon Taxi is already confirmed. They will probably book one of two when it comes to Uzi and 21, but give us t-pain, that mans tiny desk concert made me shit my pants, why did he ever use auto tune?

Beyond Lil Uzi and 21, that lineup is hilariously out of touch with rap/hiphop music. Lil Dicky is a fun booking but not when the other rap options are London on Da Track, T Pain, and Yimg Yang Twins.
He covered Radiohead, FLips, and Sly and the Family Stone. I don't know why but now I really wanna see him sing Creep haha.
Before he played "Creep" he said something like, "I'm going to play this because I know they won't."
That's pretty great. I want to see them play it just once live. I know they did on this most recent tour, but I'm sure Thom can't be assed to give a shit about it.
Would much rather have Ying Yang Twins over whatever Lil Dicky is and not at all ashamed about that.
edit: these rappers also make sense given the age of it's headliner base. I'd bet someone willing to get down to Incubus at a fest might also check out YYT.

saw lil Dicky at Okee the first year. He was more of a good entertainer than a rapper by far. Too bad cause he does joke rap pretty well even though he’s done and over with. With that being said, since he’s past his prime(that of which if he was ever at) Bonnaroo will probably book him. The frats will love it

yeah it's not great. i was kind of hoping for future or thugger. last year they had Post, Uzi, G easy, carnage, big krit, amine (some of them ended up being cancelled due to weather, can't remember who)
I do think the London thing could be kind of fun, I guess it's just going to be a dj set of stuff he's done essentially, but I like a lot of his stuff.
