Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
I personally think it would be best to keep the name, just change the tagline.
"The Premier source of festival information on the web since 2004" or something
Suggested reorganization of board to align with interests of inforoo 2.0. Keeping forum names as a nod to our shared history:

That Tent - Talk about packing, camping, travel, and all things to survive festivals here (keeping jello shots cold and sex at festivals threads here)
This Tent - Talk about artists, genres, albums, and any non-live music music discussion here (now playing dos, hip hop thread, new radiohead album, etc.)

All headliner thread trolls are invited back on a provisional basis provided their trolling is entertaining. All political thread trolls are told they're welcome to come back but then we pour pig's blood on them at Inforoo Prom.

Which section will we debate bonnaroo attendance numbers in?
Having CHIC makes me want Pharrell on the farm too. We could have some Get Lucky action, and with all of Pharrell/NERDs collabs, it could be an amazing set.
I'm going to keep pushing N.E.R.D. and Friends as a headliner until I will it into existence.
Chad Hugo is an amazing DJ, N.E.R.D. at the farm and two decent HL's good get me to come back again.
To be real this thread just makes me hate people I actually know in real life. Christ. Why are you guys such asshats when you think you are anonymous? I'm tired of it, if you think Bonnaroo is dead; let it die -- all your insults remind me why I have zero hope for the people in this country.

To be fair, I've been posting on this board since 2012 and the general tone and subject matter are pretty similar as then.
All you fucking pinkies up music snobs, you're great entertainment from October-February, never change. All you reddit newbs who don't get it and bitch about how negative this board is and about how reddit is so much better, never change either (but get an avatar you fucking egg)

Does Chic f/Nile Rodgers already make this lineup better than last years by itself? I really think it might.
Certainly a step in the right direction on fixing the legacy issue. It could end up being another step in the right direction on the Superjam, but we’ll see how that pans out.
I still think they are comparable to the Dead and U2, but many would say yes. I feel like that was the whole point of them being announced so soon. Many have already changed tone based on the one booking. They have a better chance selling presale tickets over the holidays with Chic as opposed to PPPP or whatever.

To answer your question, no
Well, you got the Eminem part right. Maybe. And I was just being a little sarcastic in the post above. It does give me hope, though, that a few more solid acts will be booked. I'm looking more forward to Chic than I did from anything on last year's lineup.

She sounds terrible.
I actually thought you were making all of that up until the very end.
