Looks like they don't have the fences drawn out, but other than drawing little dotted lines they still have the bar/beer & wine areas featured on the map, a lot like they did in 2016 (when there were still gardens). I wouldn't get my hopes up about it just yet, if you care much about free-range boozin.
If you can, try afternoon drinks at the Mama Shelter rooftop in Hollywood area - awesome views and cool place. I like Paley for dinner (10 min walk away) - little pricy but good. There's some good quicker dinner options by the Arclight on Sunset, also less than 10 minute walk from Mama Shelter. After the show, try to go to Good Times at Davey Wayne's if it's not too busy. Super fun place with a live band late at night; styled like a 70s house party in somebody's basement. Lot of bars (upscale and dive) close by if there's a long line.

Anyway, those are my recs close to the cemetery.
Thanks for the recommendations. Is Mama Shelter's a boogie Hollywood spot? I'm more of a unique dive atmosphere person, not a fan of the swanky LA shit.

Mama Shelter is a bit trendy/sceney but not too pretentious. On a Thursday afternoon, I was thinking you'd enjoy the sun and vibes from the roof over any hints of pretentiousness the place has. I've enjoyed it there the two times I've been. Davey Wayne's is "trendy" too but went with my friend's brother who is a dyed-in-the-wool dive bar fanatic, and he loved it.
If you're looking for a real divey restaurant rec Luv2Eat Thai Bistro is in a shopping center closeby in Hollywood. Place is in this real crummy strip mall but has the best Thai I've ever had. Incredible.
A couple cooler more divier bars are Sycamore Tavern (nothing special about it, just a big dive bar in the middle of Hollywood), Jameson's Tavern (big sports bar but gets a little touristy) or The Den and Bar Lubitsch (both are West Hollywood, so a ~12 min Uber from cemetery).
I'll be in LA around 2 pm tomorrow. I will go check-in to my hotel, then will wander around until Zola Jesus show at MOCA. I might go to Slowdive (just a DJ set) pre-party after that. And here's my latest schedule for the weekend:
Fri: Horse Meat Disco > Beach Fossils > Kelly Lee Owens > Hundred Waters > Bjork > Slowdive > Missy Elliott > FlyLo Sat: Jonathan Richman > Big Thief > Fatima Yamaha > MCDE > Cap'N Jazz > Built to Spill > Avalon Emerson > Erykah Badu > Sleep > Nicolas Jaar Sun: Julia Jacklin > Andy Shauf > Temples > Ty Segall > Little Dragon > Moses Sumney > Iggy Pop > Blonde Redhead > Tiga > Talaboman > NIN
