I think it's good to have a "Tennessee" guy as AD. I just hope Fulmer isn't too conservative in his search. I will say it was nice hearing the ole pumpkin during the Pres conference.
On ESPN Chris Low mentioned Tee Martin and Kevin Steele because they're TN guys. I don't think Steele is head coach material, so I hope that meant as DC.
Steele was there under Johnny majors, not Fulmer, and that whole switchover was a little...awkward. Steele was abysmal as a HC, so hopefully if he is involved it's just as a DC. As for tee, would he be HC or OC? He's inexperienced for a HC, but who would he be an OC under?

The question posed was who's on Phil's list. He mentioned Tee first.

Frost to Nebraska is official, 7 years $35 million. McMurphy reported that Frost had second thoughts all week and real remorse, but he's gone. When ESPN talked about it during the AAC final, I think it was Steve Levy who said "our own" Brett McMurphy reports...ESPN laid him off in that big round of talent layoffs earlier this year.
that was the most f*cking ridiculous roughing the passer penalty I've ever witnessed. not to mention baker fucking up a 3 and out on an unnecessary PI that led to a TD. already looking like it's going to play out like the last game

Alabama belongs nowhere near the playoff. Whenever wins this game, the ACC title, Oklahoma, and whomever wins the big 10 imo.
Georgia has the worst discipline i can remember. They could be great if they’d stop being such idiots. Some questionable calls but also several missed calls

Does he stay for UCF's bowl game or not? Would be nice if he stuck around.
Several recent news stories have Jonathan Smith floating the idea of letting Mike Riley and Dennis Erickson help him out as consultants. Whether or not it would be coordinator or something less official is undetermined.
Riley also in a report said he is moving back to Corvallis (where OSU is located, but also his hometown before that.)
Every Beaver coordinator and coach was fired after the Civil War loss, with the exception of interim head coach Cory Hall. Some of the players liked him and it was often quoted he brought a good energy and was helpful in recruiting, so maybe he'll stick around to some degree.
Smith was a starting QB for the Beavers back around 2000, who played under Riley and Erickson. Led the team to a Fiesta Bowl win over Notre Dame and a #4 end of year ranking. Helps when you throw to Ochocinco and TJ Houshmenzadeh.

I think they might have a better chance against Bama. Nothing about that first matchup makes me think they can beat Auburn.
Quoted for no particular reason.
It's crazy how different Auburn is without an effective Kerryon Johnson. Georgia did play a lot better though. Not that I'm upset at all. I was hoping for a Clemson-Georgia matchup. Hopefully in Atlanta for the National Championship.

I don't think I agree Kim. I don't think either of the Big 10 teams are as good though id give an invite to Wisconsin if they win off their undefeated season. I actually don't think Georgia is in the same class as Alabama either. Really Clemson if they win and OU are locks. Wisconsin should be with a win. If tOSU wins, either they and Alabama or Alabama and Georgia probably should get in.
Scratch that. OSU winning probably does nothing but ensure GA and AL both get in.

Georgia is in. With Oklahoma and ACC winner. I dont know why SC isn't in the convo with OSU and 'bama. And Wisconsin will get in if they win, which irritates me.
Not sure I agree there either potent. I don’t see the voters putting Miami in over Alabama. Fortunately for UGA, they didn’t have to face the Tide this year (so far). I doubt many people think they are the better team either. But the SEC title probably gives UGA the edge vs Bama
Agreed, fuck them. I don't like them, and it got old a long time ago. But for them not to be Top 5 at this point (or higher) sells them short. I'm non biased as an SLU Fighting Lions and FSU fan and have no dog in the fight.

There is literally not a question about the ACC or SEC champs getting in over Alabama.
