Settle a debate I am having: In between sets when they are doing interviews, are the artists sitting in front a green screen with the pond digitally imposed in the background? Or are they actually sitting in front of a pond?
Phantogram took the cake for me and I'm not even a huge fan
I echo this.
I've always liked them and they're always fun live. But I just had this realization that what they're doing is pretty close to perfection. They have the great production, they can rock sometimes, they have great melodies and a great front woman. They've stepped up the live show big time.

The best parts of the xx's set was when Remy and Oliver stopped playing and let Jamie prove that he's better without them
I prefer Jamie solo over the band, but Remy's guitar on Loud Places was hot.
There were definitely some great moments. But I also really dislike Oliver's voice, so whenever he starts singing I have a tough time staying interested
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go on an overnight drunk, and in 10 days I'm going to set out to find the shark that ate my friend and destroy it. Anyone who wants to tag along is more than welcome.
