No I said that you were not affiliated despite the fact that your posts read like Founders' Twitter feed at this point (on sales, artist promotion, etc). I just don't understand why you were so quick to turn this into a masturbation scenario.
Probably because I am going to those festivals, so I am sharing music and info with other people who may also be going.
But its cute you think I am trying to sell tickets to a festival in NYC to a self obsessed jackass in Texas.
That's why you turned it into a mastebation scenario?

Sure he's narcissistic, but he's my only means of conveyance.
There's a couple cool fests on there, but I couldn't find over $800 worth of value. Seemed weird people were saying it would be worth it if you lived in Europe.
Thats good to know, because based purely on the names of the following festivals I assumed they were a thousand times better than anything you see in America.
Copenhell Creamfields Firenze Rocks Festival Glasgow Summer Sessions Graspop Metal Meeting I Love Techno Europe Leeds Festival Lowlands Festival Paradiso Festival Parklife Popaganda Music Festival Reading Festival Rock am Ring Rock im Park Rock im Pott Rock Werchter Summerburst Göteborg Summerburst Stockholm The Warehouse Project Werchter Boutique
I haven't looked at the lineup but "I'm headed to Belgium for Werchter Boutique" sounds cooler than "I'm headed to Coachella".
Wercher Boutique lineup: Robbie Williams, Emili Sande, Marco Barsato, Stan Van Samang, Erasure, Niels Destadaber

See how european all those names are? for all i know they are all on the Bedroom Community label and compose violently devastating ambient post-techno. Plus you get Erasure, and Robbie Williams sells the tickets. Way cooler than Coachella as long as you don't do too much research and make a lot of baseless assumptions.
I wasn't the only one who said bad things about this for the record, but leave it to Launchpad to start a fight with me about Coachella over it.
You were the only one blubbering about the death of the indie scene and rise of consumerism or whatever the fuck.
Well you still fail to identify why that could become a problem, plus you were the only one going on about how great a deal it was - still gave me no reason to go after you over the same old shit again. I would expect a Bernie-bro like yourself to encourage the use of free speech in public forums anyways.

Its a great deal for me. 4 festivals in the area, wont have to take a single day off work for any of them, itll save me $4-600 easily if I can snag one. Also if I decide to use up a vacation day or two I can travel to another city and catch some music. I dont really care if you find value in it or not.
You have free speech. And I have the ability to call you a jackass for the jackass things you say.

Why would you ever have to travel for music when you can just see Saint Motel four times in the same city though?

I really dont. Living right next to NYC is awesome. I can see most of the shit you drop thousands to see, for $30 on a Wednesday night and be back in my own bed. Only reason to travel for me anymore is to see a different city and have a new experience. Music is secondary for me, like the icing on a cake

Are there really that many acts that come through NYC that don't come to Austin or Dallas at some point? I mean I don't really understand what you're bragging about here. Personally I would prefer to travel to more cool places.

Yes. Right off the top of my head, lets use some of your favorite Coachella acts for example. Moderat: two NYC shows in the last year. Nothing in Texas. Justice: 3 shows in the last year. Nothing near your shit hole.
You travel for music. I travel when I want to travel and have an experience. If music I want to catch is also going on, cool.

So because you live closer to NYC you're somehow superior? That's just about the lamest argument you've concocted thus far and proof of how shallow you truly are.

I am not claiming to be superior. I am responding to your new favorite jackass "Why would you ever want to travel?" comment that you have used like 3 times in the last 2 days. I dont need to travel for music. You do.

Imagine, for a second, being the type of person who would actually openly write this ^^^ with complete sincerity, where people you intend to interact with in the future could read it. Frightening, isn't it?

I saw Justice in 2012 at Coachella and that was enough. I saw Modeselektor at sunrise in Germany. Keep your bed.
This all started because I said bad things about Live Nation btw.

Imagine for a second being a miserable fucking loser who goes on the internet to try and bring other people down and attempt to make them feel as miserable as they feel... Oh wait you dont have to imagine.
