And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
Alanis Morissette, always have enjoyed her music and saw her on that Kaaboo lineup. I think she would be a fun get. or No Doubt would be a good female act to get. Better than wasting money on Beyonce or Lady Gaga or anyone else really expensive and too mainstream pop for my taste.

I'm not gonna slag Beyonce or Gaga because I'd camp out for either but I'd go and see Alanis. I'd probably skip No Doubt.
George Clinton's new dates would've convinced me he's a lock for old Bonnaroo, but not for new Bonnaroo.
Just coming here to mention those. I could still see it, it’s not like he’s a tough get these days.
Yeah I could still see it. The vibe I've gotten is that Roo is actually trying to bring back some of the jam-type stuff. P-Funk would fit in with some of the stuff they booked this year, and he played Okeechobee.

I’ve said this around here before, but GC&PF is pretty solid these days, even if they’re a little cliche. George isn’t running around with wild hair or anything, but he’s got a great band together and they just get after it. Apparently FlyLo is releasing a new GC album on Brainfeeder.

If they book GC they should book Thundercat too so I can get excited for a potential collaboration and then be disappointed when it doesn't happen
George Clinton and the P-funk would be a nice way to get me interested. I’ve always wanted to see them live, but tickets have always been to expensive fer me to be a casual fan and wanna pony up that kinda money. Get them and one or two other “legacy” acts, a throwback act from the 80s/90s, at least 10 acts in the undercard with some history to them that can do a good 60-90 minute set, and at least one interestin’ headliner and I’m in. Just not more of the shit that they’ve had the last two years.
I wish they were coming closer to Ohio on that tour! Bahamas were one of my favorite sets in 2015, I’d love to see them again. I might have to make the trip to Michigan if I like the new album as much as their others.

If the single is any indication, it should be pretty solid. Plus he recorded it with Pino Palladino and James Gadson, who both boast stellar resumés

I’m listening to the new single now and LOVING it! Their voices are so pretty together.

I know they're pretty small but I want Bonnaroo to bring Overcoats in this year soooo badly. They would be perfect for one of the first slots on Thursday or on the Who Stage. Young was/is one of my favorite releases of the year, the deluxe comes out tomorrow with a few new songs including a single they seem to be pushing which I think might bring them some new fans. I saw them back in September and they put on a really fun show, the band that opened for them was Yoke Lore and I think they definitely have that "Thursday at Bonnaroo" feel too, they remind me a lot of Hippo Campus. Anyways yeah, that would be a small act that would get me pretty excited.
