I saw The Shins last night (I’ve seen them a few times before) and the set they’re touring with now is a lot of fun! The last song of the encore was a mashup of Sleeping Lessons and Petty’s American Girl. Would love to see them in a sunset Which spot.
I also went to G Jones after The Shins and he threw down, my Roo crew was all in tow for that one and we had a blast.

Mannn I NEED a full Shins set so bad. They were one of my most anticipated acts for Osheaga this year, and the crazy rain storm pushed all sets back quite a bit. They ended up playing for only ~25 minutes. They ended with that mashup as well which was a lot of fun.

I love them, I try to catch them whenever I can. James was super goofy with the crowd and there was good energy all around. I wore a Roo shirt and found quite a few people who had been before so it was a cool conversation starter. I had a great night
Edit: I literally just googled Brand New and saw the accusations
Surprised this hasn't been picked up by more outlets yet
wonder if it’s true or not? My girl has been dying to see them and we missed out on seeing them recently when they came by. But she’s been hoping they play Roo. But this doesn’t look like a good sign.
I feel like for the upcoming artists Roo is gonna book Sir Sly and K. Flay, they just seem like stuff Roo would go after. Also really hoping for some wild belle on the farm finally.
K.Flay's new Spring tour dates skip over Nashville, hitting lots of LN venues. I'd say she's pretty likely
I️ found K Flay to be really enjoyable. I’d definitely be happy if she was on the lineup. It would be a good start to Thursday.
This would be a fantastic booking for Thursday night. Also noticed BORNS is doing a mini tour that skips over TN. With a new album out he'd be a decent booking for Thursday night.

Played Thursday last time (2016). Doubt he'd get booked there again, but seeing him booked in general is probably a safe bet.

If they book BORNS again they best not royally fuck up the sound again. That was one of my lady’s must see acts in ‘16 and you could barely hear their show from inside the tent.

While I do think the sound wasn't at its best that night, I think BORNS and Glass Animals both have an issue where their vocalists are breathy/whispery and they just don't translate as well live.
I wasn't at Roo this year, so I can't speak to Glass Animals, but I saw them at Roo and Panorama, and at both they had that issue, as did BORNS at Roo.
I think the smashing pumpkins could be a cool possibility. They hinted that they were planning a reunion tour in 2018 with all the original members. Even though Corgan is an insufferable douchbag a preheadline or late night would be great
I really want to experience The Smashing Pumpkins music in a live setting. But I can never find a good performance from them. So I feel like I'd be disappointed.
