Harden was MVP runner-up as a two-guard in 2015. He's been a full-time point guard for only one year, and he advocated for the acquisition of Chris Paul. Staggering minutes is a thing. Also, passing.
My guess is Chris Paul is the PG when they're both on the floor about 80 percent of the time. Rebound, give it to whomever is closer, run transition offense, and when the game slows down Paul runs point and Harden comes off screens. When one is out, the other plays point and Eric Gordon is the shooting guard. D'Antoni has said that he intends for at least one to be on the court at all times.
But there are a lot of cool things that they're going to be able to do with it. It's going to be so much fun watching Harden annihilate second-team point guards (like old times). Coach Pringles is salivating.
