so this is gonna be my second ever festival and first abroad. any tips that i won't find online, or anything primavera-specific i should know about ??
Make a schedule but don't be afraid to wander and check out acts you've never heard of. My biggest regret after my first Primavera is seeing too many shows that I knew would eventually tour my local area vs acts that mostly only play Europe

Heads up Kero Kero Bonito are playing after Beck now, think they updated on the site.

That's perfect. Now that show has a 10:00 start and I don't have to get there early. Might even check out Boy Pablo first at Poble.
Any idea how hard it’ll be to get into that L’imperatrice show?
Also any can’t-miss things I should do while in Barcelona? We’ve got a hotel in the gothic.
Looks like the venue they are playing at has a capacity of 900-1500 depending on how it’s configured so I don’t think it should be too difficult. It’s hard to know since they’ve never done city shows at this scale before. I personally think we are overestimating the number of attendees of the city shows. I imagine Wednesday will be the busiest day.

Sagrada Familia for sure. I highly recommend checking out the interior of Casa Batllo. There's also a really cool evening 'light show' on the top of Casa Mila. These are both a lot more accessible than Park Guell from a purely logistical standpoint, and require a lot less hiking.
I'm staying in the Gothic quarter during W2, so that's definitely on my list! It's free on Sundays, and from 4-7pm on Thursdays.
During W1 I'm over closer to Poble Espanyol, and there's a lot in that complex that I haven't seen yet either. With so many shows over there this year, definitely convenient to check out the Joan Miro Foundation, Jardins de Larabal, Historic Botanical Garden, the Catalan Museum of Archaeology, MNAC National Art Museum of Catalyuna, Majic Fountain, Mies Van Der Rohe Pavilion...

I actually just a booked a spot for Sagrada Familia on Monday the 6th since I didn't get a chance to go last time I was in Barcelona. Also have Casa Mila, Picasso Museum and The Cathedral Of Barcelona on my list.
