I've just taken a huge L as my entire group has backed out last minute. Wanna KMS right now. If anyone knows any last min leads for places to stay that aren't ridiculous for 6/1-6/6 that would be greatly appreciated

That sucks! Why did they back out? I'm looking at hotels.com and the cheapest room for those dates is $186 per night in El Born. It looks pretty nice.

Looks like an amazing trip. I'll be in Sitges on the 30th and 31st. Figured two days chilling in a beach town before an 11 day run of music would be a good move.

They never booked their flights because they thought I was gonna do that for them?? Just general cold feet it seems. Point blank I don't think they really ever wanted to go despite buying tickets and now have me left scrambling.

thats absolutely horrid, honestly its why i usually tend to go solo for things like this. at best though youll get to see everyone you wanna see

Yeah, finding friends reliable enough to go to a festival with you is tricky. Have had a friend pull out of a trip to Shaky Knees (2021) at almost the last minute and had to just take the L on it. Nowadays I prefer to just plan to go solo. I guess it’s a bit understandable to get cold feet (if I hadn’t booked my non refundable hostel and flights months ago, I probably would’ve got it when the artist drops happened), but when you commit to a friend like that you gotta go or you’re being a shitty friend.

Not super happy with this fest right now, at least not the support. Couldn't make it so I put in a refund request for my VIP ticket and they said they returned it to the waiting list like two weeks later. My weekend two upgrade sold quickly but weekend 1 wasn't. after like a month I put in another because I wasn't sure if they just put the weekend two on the list, and I get a response that there's little interest on the waiting list so they can't and im better off transferring it to someone.
So I list it on stubhub (wasn't sure where else, posted here and some other places without any interest) along with my friends who is in a similar boat and both ended up selling yesterday together. I try to transfer but I don't have enough buyer info, decide i'll contact stubhub this weekend to get that since it's a super busy work week. Did double check the app and there was no indication it was on the waiting list
Wake up this morning and both me and my friend had emails that our tickets sold on the waiting list and we've gotten full refunds and the tickets are out of our accounts. We hadn't transferred to the buyer yet, so I had to put in that I don't have the tickets on stubhub. Waiting to see what exactly I'm charged from stubhub but I'm braced for it. Don't love I was specifically told my ticket couldn't be put on the waiting list, and yet it turns out it was on the waiting list with no indication

Honestly at this point your best bet might be to play it by ear and wait for the onslaught of all the free cancellations to hit Booking.com & Airbnb from everyone that booked extra places they don't need anymore / random reasons, and the free cancelation periods start to run out. I realize this might seem too stressful but it could save you a lot of money if you're willing to try.

Looks like that Quimera addition is completely fake. And the video they released has really high production values. I’d expect it to be an artist worth the trouble. Wishful thinking went to Bad Bunny but the photos don’t quite look like him. That is if the artist is even the person in the photos.

We need to get an Inforoo solo group together next year. Find a nice place to split the costs of 3-4 ways. Would make it so much cheaper, it’s literally costing me more for lodging than my ticket and flights combined.
I considered going the airbnb route this year with some friends, but I'm glad I didn't because the friends ended up selling their tickets and I've been hearing horror stories of people having their airbnb's cancelled due to the owner not having the proper permit.
