I was just reading this review of 2019 Primavera, and funny enough, they suggest that "Low are reliably incisive in an all-too-brief set (that arguably deserved the full reverence of the Auditori Rockdelux"
also
"Interpol, playing Primavera for what seems like the thousandth time, are reliably monotonous – Joy Division reimagined by GQ."
Carcass and Guided By Voices were playing in that time slot too, so it's hard to be too sympathetic to someone choosing to see them for the 100th time

Got my Sagrada reservation for the afternoon before Julien Baker. Last time I just did a normal visit, but this time I'm going up to the Nativity tower which should be interesting!
ouch, only artist i was planning on seeing on one of the Bits stages was oklou but i’ll probably just catch her at her own tour in that case
Not interested in any Dice artists??
after looking it over again, Honey Dijon and Ben UFO are the only ones im gonna make. The rest all lose conflict battles. I do want to see Logic1000 and Romy but they latter is against YYYs and the former is about a 30 minute walk from YYYs and ends right as they start.
Edit: scratch Ben UFO, same time as Leon Vynehall

So is the only way to access bits is to walk on the bridge with red and green dots?
The arrow, now in grey, is where the bridge is and where you used to be able to walk over. The green and red arrow follow the coast/port and is where you have to go around now.

Welp. That's going to cut down on the amount of late night dance sets I was planning on splitting.

Yeah, there's a great deal of sets I wanna see there but just going there for an hour to catch 1 set/act almost seems not worth it. Gonna trial and error on Thursday to see what it's like doe the rest of the weekend.

might be worth it if its someone you wanna see that also is playing at sunset and you can do that on the beach
thursday w2 has one of the best runs of any fest possibly ever, Gorillaz > Dua Lipa > Tyler > Bicep > 2manydjs is mindblowing
also slowdive and playboi carti on the same stage is the funniest scheduling ever
Not to mention the run of Alex Cameron > Dry Cleaning > Squid > Ride > Slowdive into Gorillaz.
that too, will probably skip ride and slowdive for someone else as im seeing them both at Prima Ciutat but def gonna try to catch Alex, Dry Cleaning and Squid. Also really wanna see Big Thief but i think I’ll skip them for a better spot at Gorillaz. Would be so cool to see Jay Electronica if he actually shows up

I’m gonna have to miss like half of Dua to see Charli, aren’t I?
as someone whos seen both on this tour and is a huge fan of both. i would reccommend Dua for the full set. Charli plays mostly crash stuff and a lot of her older songs she does the last half hour of her set.
edit: though if youre into crash then definitely do the full Charli set. sometimes i forgot how polarizing that record is and that there are a lot of ppl who loved it.

Charli was fun but Dua show was incredible.
agreed, i was absolutely floored at how good her arena set was in comparison to her Osheaga set in 2018. even more impressed by the fact that she didn’t really lipsync
Crash is good, but it’s not 12/20 songs on an artist with a discography as deep as Charli’s setlist good. Wish she’d play like 8 from Crash and add in some stuff like Track 10, Next Level Charli, White Mercedes, & I Love It or Fancy.
