Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Honestly at this point your best bet might be to play it by ear and wait for the onslaught of all the free cancellations to hit Booking.com & Airbnb from everyone that booked extra places they don't need anymore / random reasons, and the free cancelation periods start to run out. I realize this might seem too stressful but it could save you a lot of money if you're willing to try.
+ plenty of people on Reddit are still looking for roommates too, if saving money is more important to you than privacy
Privacy doesn't really matter to me as the last "affordable" options are all price inflated hostels anyway
We need to get an Inforoo solo group together next year. Find a nice place to split the costs of 3-4 ways. Would make it so much cheaper, it’s literally costing me more for lodging than my ticket and flights combined.
Absolutely, this is a must.
Next year I'm not messy around. Once the next fest dates drop I'm booking every cancellable AirBNB and Hotel in the city with dates open.

I would avoid airbnbs, Barcelona is really cracking down on them, but I agree that booking a cancelable room early is a game changer.

Also you have to pay in advance at least partially for Airbnbs, but not Booking.com. I had a pretty sweet 3 BR apartment near Sagrada booked for a week for about $900 total, but I ended up canceling it and doing the solo thing...

I guess this "Quimera" artist would be the start of the Boiler Room x Cupra fka Heinken Hidden Stage announcements? Nowhere else they could fit on the schedule...

Really enjoying this new addition 'Él Mató a un Policía Motorizado', they're opening the main Estrella stage on Day 1 right before girl in red so I might check 'em out

I'd be down. Piggybacking off this, is anyone thinking of going to that Julien Baker show on 5/31? I'm getting in noon that day and considering it if I'm not too tired from the travel.
And yeah, I'm starting to get past the anxiety about the trip and disappointment of conflicts and realize how amazing this is going to be. Ngl, looking at the Bonnaroo schedule today and seeing how next level this is compared to that really solidified it for me.
Bodega Amposta (snug tapas & wine) also looks great but closes after lunch until 8pm. Might be useful if you want to get lunch and check out some museums in Montjuic before the shows start though.
booked my sagrada familia tour, now just trying to figure out how to get to montserrat. side q, how are taxis and the free now app?
Check this out, you can easily do Montserrat in 6-8 hours on public transit if you're not trying to hike the whole mountain. Edit: make sure you're there for the Boys Choir, 1pm or 7pm.
And for shits and giggles, here's my list of tapas/dinner/bar options near Sala Apolo & LAUT:
Xiloka BCN Bar Restaurant (quality tapas, Wed-Sun, 1-5 & 7-11:45) Quimet Quimet (tapas/500 wine options, Mon-Sat, 12-4 & 6-10:30) Abirradero: CraftBeer & Tapas (craft beer & tapas lol, English-speaking, lots of beer options, open daily from 10/11am to 12/1am) La Confiteria (calm bar w/ inventive drinks, open daily from 5/6 until 1:30-3am) Hell Awaits (metal/hell-themed bar, Th-Sun 6-2:30am)
+ La Prudencia del Raval (elevated tapas, Weds-Sun, hours vary) also looks quite good + Perro Pako Bar (Chilean empanadas & drinks, Tues-Sun, 2/3pm-1:30/2:30am)
Quimet Quimet is seriously legit. I liked it so much I went twice in 2016. Definitely planning on going there at least once during Weekend 2 and maybe during mid week as well.

Oh nice! It's too bad they're not open on Sundays or I'd maybe hit it before the Iceage/King Gizz/Les Savy Fav show. That also would be a good one for Hell Awaits though
Artists for Night Pro, Estrella Damm Sona, Jack Daniel's Sona and Tous Sona (the last three I assume are bigger bars at stages) have been added to the schedule (and clashfinder).

I was just reading this review of 2019 Primavera, and funny enough, they suggest that "Low are reliably incisive in an all-too-brief set (that arguably deserved the full reverence of the Auditori Rockdelux"
also
"Interpol, playing Primavera for what seems like the thousandth time, are reliably monotonous – Joy Division reimagined by GQ."
