After a quick glance, here's my first pass, which will invariably change between now and the end of the month (and probably on the day, really):
Wed: maaaaaaaybe Big Red Machine, but probably not.
Thurs: Julien Baker/Soccer Mommy/?/Shonen Knife/Christine and the Queens/Jayda G/Carcass/Dirty Projectors/Charli XCX/FKA twigs/Mykki Blanco/Octo Octa b2b Eris Drew and/or Nina Kraviz
Fri: Midori Takada/Putochinomaricon/Sons of Kemet/Beak>/30 mins of CRJ/Liz Phair/2nd half Jawbreaker/?/Low/Cybotron/Objekt/a bit of Helena Hauff/Peggy Gou
Sat: Tirzah/The Mystery of the Bulgarian Voices/Shellac and/or Tim Hecker/Rosalia/Neneh Cherry/30 mins of Primal Scream/Cupcakke/Stereolab/this conflict also hurts a lot but for right now I'm going to say Roisin Murphy/Modeselektor/Avalon Emerson
Fri: Sons of Kemet > Julia Holter > Carly Rae Jepsen > Janelle Monae > Overmono live > Helena Hauff
Sat: Mystery of the Bulgarian Voices > David August > Rosalia
assuming ray ban studios has B&W? i was iffy on SOPHIE vs demdike stare but after seeing demdike at day for night i cant pass them up on that soundsystem. i love this schedule so much, no matter who i see it will be good and im still discovering older acts. Also field day lineup should eliminate some conflicts.
big red machine is going to be great, they've been taking a really open experimental approach to live performances. I'm expecting collaberation with someone on the lineup.
*shout out to dad's that want to stay up until 4am
How easy is it to get to/from the Apolo venue, especially late at night? It looked like there was a bus line that ran down from the Parc del Forum to the venue but I'm not totally sure how late it runs.

I know a lot of busses run pretty late there, but also Taxis are really pretty cheap in Barcelona.

i would just grab a taxi. used the mytaxi app in madrid last year and it was very easy.
just discovered bliss signal. might have to drown in a pool of atmospheric sound before seeing the end of objekt.
Seconding Bliss Signal, their live show at 3am is going to be crazy!
Also, I've heard that there's a line that forms at the Apolo venue, meaning that some people who stay out late elsewhere on Wednesday and Sunday are S.O.L. Is that true?

It's first come first to get in, but I didn't have to wait in line at all on Wednesday or Sunday.

yeah I'm considering going for Fucked Up/Apparat obviously because I'd like to see them but also so I can stay up a bit later Wednesday night to not fuck up my sleep schedule on Thursday.

Do you recall what times you arrived last year?
we skipped belle and Sebastian who were playing in the Big Red Machine ally so that may have helped on Wednesday. I have 0 recollection of that Sunday lol

Thanks! Yeah, the festival running on East Coast time was one of the factors that helped me pull the trigger on Primavera this year. Though I do plan on sightseeing on the Monday and Tuesday, so hopefully enough things in the city will still be open and accessible in the late afternoon/early evening.
The new Charli/Lizzo song is pretty disappointing. Just a lame version of Track 10.
Totally agreed. Charli is one of my must-sees and I may even skip Sophie in order to get a great spot, but I'm hoping she plays many N1A/Pop 2 tracks and skips most of her commercial tunes.
