Real question: Why do y'all want to see MBV at an outdoor venue when they are infinitely better indoors. A few nights at Brooklyn Steel would be waaaaaay better.

I definitely would. But the only date they've announced so far is a festival which is why I feel Panorama would be more likely.
Elton John is teasing some announcement at 1PM... Is that odd?
Pretty sure hes retiring from touring all together and cancelling the shows that he already has scheduled. Been a number of outlets that have reported that today

BBC/Mirror is saying it's a farewell tour.
Sir Elton John is set to make an announcement about his future career at a press conference on Wednesday.
The star is expected to reveal plans for a new venture after his Las Vegas residency ends in May after six years.
British newspaper The Mirror has reported the 70-year-old will announce his final world tour.
No way this Elton John announcement has anything to do with Pano.
Yeah, especially since the announcement was also being physically promoted in London. Only link could be if it was a tour announcement that Pano had to wait on, but I doubt he ends up here

Ahhhh okay that makes more sense. This whole "odd" thing has my brain going every which way.

Ah interesting. I read it on The Sun, which is scum, so yours is probably a better source

I wouldn't even consider Elton an odd choice. He's already played Outside Lands and Bonnaroo. This fest has tried everything else headliner wise: Big Name, Critically Acclaimed Hip-Hop (KDot, Frank), Alt-Rock Giants (NiN, AF), and Hometown Favorites (LCD) and nothing has moved the needle for it. Legacy act would be the logical next try.
