Janet/Weeknd headlining just means I can leave early which is a bigger bonus every year I get older. I'll stick around to see a bit of The Killers but seeing them twice in the past 4 months, can't really muster up excitement about them.

Do they do afterparties? I don’t remember.
Only a handful. Last year I did Jagwar Ma at Bowery Ballroom.

I'm just hoping for some surprises this morning. I know the headliners are probably going to suck/be underwhelming, but hopefully they get away from the boilerplate undercard that's plagued this season.
Last year, Pano was one of the only fests with a bunch of these names, most of whom had albums in later 2017 or 2018: Belle and Sebastian, MGMT, Nick Murphy, Nico Jaar, Pinegrove, Justice, ATCQ...So here's hoping to some fresh surprises!

Tribe didn’t have an album in 17 or 18
Neither did Nico, Pinegrove, or Justice. Or at least they don't yet
i woke up with a sick feeling in my stomach and that means i probably contracted the flu but im gonna blame it on the lineup dropping today until i experience more symptoms
Any fest that was able to grab ATCQ on their final run of shows was lucky in retrospect. I know some of the shows were considered somewhat lackluster. Q-Tip said it himself though, "A Tribe Called Quest, we suffered a blow. We lost our boy Phife Dawg". I just appreciate the opportunity to have caught them live at this point (even if it was the last time).

Obviously we still complain but if it’s overreacting you want, check out their Facebook
I left the Coachella Facebook group two years ago because of the amount of shite people spewed. I think all Facebook groups are going to be like this...and for that reason I decline your request.
