If Scott Goldenvoice himself said it, it must be true
Hey everyone, I’m returning to the thread earlier than I expected, and it’s finally time I revealed my identity. It is I, Scott Goldenvoice. And yes, we finally got the reunion everyone was waiting on. David S-Pumpkins. And to match that, there’ll be C-Harris there too! Love Randall’s Island. Love Panorama.
Please change your username to Scott Goldenvoice. Everybody should know we are amongst royalty.
To be fair, a reunited, original Pumpkins' lineup would be a big deal too.
edit: though it would have been bigger had Corgan not gotten into wrestling/made more music
Corgan, Iha and Chamberlain are all in the studio right now I believe. It's a shame D'arcy wasn't invited but Corgan and Iha are an insane gutiarist combo with crazy chemistry.
I'd be surprised if they didn't headline Riot Fest and Shaky Knees next year.

The D'Arcy thing is weird. She's on good terms with all of them now but she wasn't invited back, makes me think there's more to it than we know. Hopefully they grab Melissa to come back. If the set consisted of material from Gish through Machina (Stand Inside Your Love and Everlasting Gaze are good songs, fight me) I'm sure it'd go over really well.

I don't think it's anything more than Corgan being an ass, but I did see a few years ago that she said her health wasn't good enough to tour. I wish they did the tour this year for a 25 year Siamese Dream anniversary.

Honestly, the only good album from them.
Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness would like to have a word with you.

Wow...Mellon Collie is right up there, the juxtaposition of Tonight Tonight into Jellybelly is a powerful way to start an album...Stumbeline and Porecelina are 2 of their best songs in their entire catalog. Adore, while it should've been released under just Billy's name, has a bunch of good stuff (Pug, Apples + Oranjes, Ava Adore, Perfect, Tear). Machina was where it started to go downhill but still had a couple decent tracks(Everlasting Gaze, Stand Inside, The Imploding Voice, and Heavy Metal Machine).

You’re just saying that because that’s the album all their most popular songs are on.
Siamese Dream has always been my fave, but Mellon Collie has straight bangers, great songwriting, and some sweet guitar work. I also really enjoy the theme and pacing of the whole album.
Adore actually is pretty great, and they did some really great soundtrack work during their electronic phase, like Eye and The Beginning is the End is the Beginning.

Ah The Batman Forever soundtrack. The most emotional of all the Batman movies
Yeah I agree that song is kinda shitty, it's a good thing I was talking about The Beginning is the End is the Beginning not The End is the Beginning is the End. And just because the movie is a turd doesn't make the song a turd.

Oh duh. The Batman Forever soundtrack is the shit though.
I'll be real, I owned the Batman Forever Soundtrack. It's what introduced to me to The Flaming Lips, Massive Attack, Nick Cave and Sunny Day Real Estate back when I was in middle school.

Fuck, what was the last big popular blockbuster that featured these type of names on the soundtrack?
