I’m actually glad the days are so different. The lineup isn’t strong enough to get me to go all days and if Sunday wasn’t organized the way it is I would just skip it altogether.

Is a close, strong family important to you? Do you feel that churches today could do more to strengthen families? Do you have a belief in God or in a supreme being? Do you have a belief in Jesus Christ as the Son of God? Do you accept the Bible as the word of God or as a history book? If there were another book of scripture that spoke of Christ would you be interested in reading it? Have you ever asked yourself, where did I come from, why am I here, andam I going after I leave this earth life? Do you pray? Do you feel that God hears and answers prayers? Would you like to be happier than you are now? What would make you happier?
-Mellon Collie is bloated, as every double album ever recorded is*, but it's still an extremely good and generation defining album. It produced some of the best singles in the 90s, namely "Tonight, Tonight", "Zero", "Thirty-Three", and "1979". And yes "Bullet with Butterfly Wings" is an anthem, even though I never really liked the song (even as a teenager the "despite all my rage" line felt a little on the nose to me).
-"Kiss From A Rose" is one of the best songs every written.
* - seriously does a double album exist that couldn't have some songs trimmed from it?
EDIT: also i have no interest in a smashing pumpkins "reunion". i'd be just as interested in seeing the billy corgan and friends version of the pumpkins lineup, which means a mild overall interest.
I think Physical Graffiti is perfect and probably their best album. Also The Wall and All Eyez On Me.
Not really. At first glance Black Madonna, Yaeji, Mall Grab, Daniel Caesar, Bicep, Floating Points, Avalon Emerson, DJ Python, Jay Som, Japanese Breakfast, Mount Kimbie, Moodymann, Rex Orange County, Helena Hauff, and Laurel Halo are worth checking out in the undercard.
03/14 - Thievery Corporation 04/25 - Black Country, New Road 05/04 - In Flames, Gatecreeper 05/10 - Modern Life is War 05/21 - Spite, Bodysnatcher, Thrown 05/29 - Knocked Loose, Loathe, Show me the Body, Speed 06/02 - Bush 06/22 - George Thorogood 06/23 - Dillinger Escape Plan, Deadguy, Candy, Carbomb
Yeah I'm not skipping Newport for that. Especially if FJM and/or TWOD cross-over. I just wish Floating Points, Black Madonna, and Yaeji would do their own shows.
I guess this is what happens when an already thin year gets spread out between 3 festivals.

He was on JoeRogan's podcast talking about this picture. It's quite an interesting discussion. He said he actually was having fun and ya know, someone snapped a picture at the right time to catch that emotion. He didn't seem to upset over becoming a meme.
i think corgan is a cooler cat than most people care to give him credit for. in long form interviews he always comes across pretty well. not a saint but a relatively normal guy, just a tad self interested. but clickbait headline culture makes him look like a psycho.
Interesting lineup for sure, but I dig it. Some stuff that I think is really cool gets: Charlotte Gainsbourg, Mall Grab, Yaeji, Supa Bwe BICEP, Avalon Emerson, DJ Python!!!, Lo Moon Mount Kimbie, Moodymann, Helena Hauff, Shanti Celeste, Laurel Halo

My thoughts:
Second and third lines of Friday are really dope. Also lets you leave early so you can still grab space at a bar in the city before it gets too packed
Saturday is the move if you want to get a little crazy at brunch then make your way to the island to turn up with Japanese Breakfast, St. Vincent, Gucci, Bardi, SZA, and Janet
Sunday, full day recovery from all the alcohol intake the past two days
