I have to think LD said something that scared mafia into thinking he had a name. LD dropped a lot of hints about a lot of people, so who's trail were they afraid he was on, besides Maddog?
Summary of LD's actions as they concern the accusation of others:
Suggests pushing Potent into runoff
Calls out Maddog as making a mafia move (good call!)
Claims MVP if two of Potent, Carini and Maddog are mafia
Claims at least one or two mafia have been playing for years. Technically, I've been playing for years at this point, but I assume he's going back further. So here are people who have been playing longer than me: Jaz, Carini, Potent, LLL, and SFA
One or two of the remaining three voters is probably mafia, that would be, Potent, LLL, and JR.
So, in summary, here's how many times he's made some degree of accusation that I see: Maddog several times Potent four times Carini twice
LLL twice SFA once Jaz once JR once
I'd most like to see Potent, followed by Carini, followed by LLL in a runoff based on this. Carini over LLL because he actually called him by name. If no one follows my vote I'll switch to LLL.

I think we should pay that comment no mind at all. Its only purpose can be to distract, like Billy did many games ago where he posted some bs about a fight with his fellow mafia members after the inspector outed him. The town got so focused on that post that we neglected almost everything else that pointed right at the other 2 mafia members and they ate the town alive.

i'm not freaking out but it's absolutely fair to warn of the concequinces here. If the inspector is still alive and confirms what most of us think. It's going to make some innocent people look guilty. Which in turn makes it harder for us to nail down the two remaining mafia.

No, I think it's fair to think one of the Maddog voters is mafia. I'd say Pablo or Dan over you or JR. Simply based on round 1.
Pretty sure Potent or LLL is the other. Could be Jaz but i'm starting to think his last minute switch in round 3 was too risky for him.

I'm going to switch my vote because nobody seems to be interested in either A) pursuing SFA with me, or B) expanding the runoff.
I'm having a hard time deciding between voting for LLL (which would be the self-interested vote, since Jaz is on her now and it would make him move his vote, and he's in the D2 runoff with me), or Carini, who is probably third on my suspect list after SFA and Jaz.
I think I have to go with my gut:
Potent > SFA > Carini
Hopefully townies see that having a 3 way on D2 is more helpful than a 2 way.
