I like Franz, more than the Killers, but to say that they're level of fame isn't as tied to Take me out as the Killers are to brightside/somebody told me is kind of a stretch.

A lot of Modest Mouse's commercial success was based on Float On. It happens. Franz may have gotten too big, too well-known for one song, too fast. There was other great stuff on that album, but it didn't hit the same way.
I try my best not to be overly bleak before a lineup comes out but this is the first time I’m really starting to worry. Not that it’s a huge deal that I won’t see the artists that are confirmed out but we are running low on the names I would care to see that I could feasibly see getting booked. I don’t expect someone like Soulwax because I doubt enough people at Bonnaroo care to see them for the price they probably demand. There are only a few headliner tier artists I haven’t seen that I want to and some of those definitely aren’t happening (looking at you, Daft Punk). I just want to validate a trip to Bonnaroo. It seems fun but every year I find myself much more inclined to go to Coach and GovBall or Lolla instead because I get way more bang for my buck

Some person on reddit said they talked to one of the members of Alvvays and they said they most likely won't be playing Bonnaroo. I'm going to be very sad if this is true. They would be a perfect band for Thursday evening.
