I read JR's vote for Viking as sarcasm... But I did read his post about, "The problem is that we've played together like a dozen times and you find it "interesting" that I'm playing like I play pretty much every time I'm town." as possibly trying to justify himself.
yeah and he also jumped down my throat for being sarcastic, so again, foot/mouth.
When? The Potent hand holding thing? I didn't jump down your throat over that.
Your avatar is of who again? Toughen up. This isn't a game for delicate sensibilities, and I'm not even accusing either of you of being mafia. We are down to a 1v1, regardless. You've talked and contributed and defended yourself, something I don't equate to being mafia (contrary to the consensus). Viking has prematurely declared defeat and a lack of desire to continue caring so much about the game and being of such great use to town - something I do equate to being non town. You guys both are on an even scale as it stands, so now is a great time to be concise in defending yourself.

Mafia's a game. I'm playing a role. My feelings aren't hurt. I know I can be a little sarcastic or throw comments I find funny in. It all started a long time ago on something I like to call... D1R1...
Would it help if I added little comments in carrots about how I'm feeling with my posts?

i haven't done anything to try to kill you dude. idk where this victim complex is coming from. are you still mad i made a joked on whatever page that was? i just said it looks dumb.
also, this regarding any combo of vik/zolah, dan/jr, jr/me, vik/jr, there haven't really been any more back and forth 'arguments' between others. which is really shitty and is making me think more and more that at least one of the less than 20 post players is likely mafia.
I agree. Another reason why Tainted and Potent would be good to look at on D2.
Why did you not include Thor, jaz, or zig? Or I guess why specifically them two over those three?
I have laid out what I think about JR in a previous post. In the end, there are a lot of inconsistencies as many of you pointed out.
The only known that I have is that I am a townie and if you kill me, you are down to 6 v 3.
I tried hard to root out mafia and believe we have one in Zolah.
Many feel the way I play is not compatible with how the game is now, and that is fine. I committed to playing and have the time to finish in this fashion. Admittedly, I will not be dedicating nearly as much time, but will chime in when I feel I can do so in a clear, concise, non-controversial way.
In the interest of self preservation, being a team player (since many of you feel he is mafia), and to demonstrating the above.
Viking >>> JR (Locked, no change)
I will answer any direct questions that I see when I check the thread.
If I am whacked, You know who I would vote for in day 2 and why.
I'm sort of agreeing with Viking to an extent. The players who get people talking get pushed into the runoff. Those who play the hardest stay in the runoff. I feel like my ratio of posts on D1 directly influences how likely I am to be in the runoff, not to disregard the inverse argument to that, but it starts with the talking. This game would probably be like 3 or 4 pages without Viking and me in it. A 3 or 4 page Day 1 gives almost no information and serves Mafia. Maybe ZIG can do a chart that compares length of Day 1 to Mafia win ratio sometime.
This is not me clearing Viking at all, but dog-piling on the ones who engage people feels like a pretty feeble strategy as a townie.

I commented about my reread and said that the stacking of Dan to 3 stood out to me and that I wasn’t sure if there was something with Tainted or Potent doing the stacking or unstacking and they would be good to look at on D2. I also mentioned that they’ve been quiet. Just after that, you and I had a few exchanges and that’s why I said Tainted and Potent in your idea of the less than 20 posters group.
I do feel like something weird was going on with Dan being bumped to 3 early on. Whether it was Tainted bumping him to 3 or Potent coming off of him, I don’t know, but I think it would be a good place to explore D2. They've also been fairly quiet this game.
I haven’t done a quote on mobile so I apologize if I F it up.

I think it’s somewhat beyond that. Viking is (correction: was) engaging people in a nonsensical way that I view as detrimental to the town.

I've done this before. There is a direct correlation between longer day 1 and townie wins.

He’s “busy” and willl provide the info later. Question gets repeated on multiple occasions until you finally give up due to a lack of a response.
Dang. I still have a week before my classes start again so if I feel motivated enough I may just do it myself to share with everyone. My worry is the results won’t be significant.
Dropped out (dropped them out): Tainted (JR) Zolah (ZIG) Dan (Tainted) JR (ZIG)
Pushed forward (who pushed): JR (Viking, Maddog, Potent) Zolah (ZIG) Dan (JR, ZIG) Viking (Thor, Zolah, Tainted, ZIG)
as many votes as pablo has had (6), he has really only been setting up votes. Less so with Potent but pretty similar. ZIG has had a big hand in shaping this as is. Tainted, Zolah, ZIG, JR all seem to be pretty connected with dropping out/pushing forward.
(not sure what it means, but taking out the context [because people lie JR] and trying to find the weighted voting pattern)
^tainted never got pushed through but he was in danger of making the first RO so i counted it. i did count tainted's 3 stack on dan because it ended up not pushing dan forward. same with vikings non-switch to zolah, and pablo's flip on dan/jr which would not have changed whether jr advanced or not.

This is pretty concise and helpful IMO. It also helps to highlight the people NOT involved in these moves - the ones who have sat back while others made moves. In this game, this would be myself, Thor, and Pablo. I also find it a little interesting that you and Potent are the only ones whose names only appear once in this data set, and they're both pushes on JR. I don't know what to make of it yet, but it stuck out to me.
