But where is the electronic act in the top 9 then if rest of top 8 is Kanye, JT, Gambino, Solange, VW, 1975(still not sure if they are a sub, but would be #3 worst), Death Cab, and Robyn?
Is it really Aphex Twin? Not a mainstream enough edm act but who knows.
Potentially Skrillex, but maybe a #2 if he comes back with new album/ep. Maybe Zedd?

Top guy at Snowglobe though, obviously they make exceptions but I just dont see it

Just noticed there hasn't been crossover from top lines of Snowglobe to the following Coachella since Snowglobe 2015 when Jack U went on to play Coach 2016. Damn....will Eric Prydz ever play this festival again?

Assuming that if Coachella’s lineup was like every other lineup the first 3 from each day would find themselves anywhere in the top 9 billed acts.

Yup, thats why I don't think Prydz is in this year
EDM acts that make sense are Zedd, SMH, Marshmello, Disclosure, and Aphex Twin(could also see as a number 4, think he plays outdoor too)

Death Cab put out a mediocre album last year, sub-headlined a one day concert in San Bernandino a year ago, played a radio fest in Long Beach this fall, played shows in Hollywood this fall, haven't really put out a good record since the last time they played Coachella in 2008, etc. LIB is a much smaller fest and booked them on the first swing of their tour when the album was highly anticipated.
If they're top 3 on their day, it's a super lazy booking and would show to me just how little GV is willing to take chances with rock/indie acts. If they're 5th-6th on their day, then whatever. I have no real need to see them again and would hope they don't box out another indie/rock act, but would rather see them then another EDM booking if we're talking late outdoor.

Not thirth on their day lol, 5/6 at the end of the first line probably.
I could see them be third. They are massively popular in SoCal and with the Coachella audience. They instantly sold out their 3 Shrine shows and probably could’ve done more, all this before their next album dropping. I could easily see Coachella billing them pretty high. I definitely think they would get billed over Zedd and Prydz.

Yeah, I knew about the Shrine shows but still. In my head they're still that small Aussie band. I'm really underestimating them. I saw them around 2 years ago for like 2/300 people.
