This is weird that I've never noticed this before, but if you go to www.coachella.com/activities/. You'll notice that it says "Good Times Beyond the Eight Stages." So..... what's the 8th stage????

Right, but that would be 9 stages. That was my first guess too. I guess they could always be counting one and not the other. Maybe they don't include HH since it's 21 and up? Just thought it was interesting is all, i'm not putting on my tin foil hat yet.
Just on the off chance this is true, those who are riding the fence might want to snap up some W2 tickets while they're around...surprise Kanye late add for his first show back in years will take those tickets to the stratosphere real quick.

How did Kanye getting added to FYF affect the resale price of tickets in 2015? That is a much smaller/cheaper festival and Kanye was more well liked at the time.

Kanye was replacing someone in that instance too though. Frank Ocean, right? In this case you are keeping your original announced headliners and getting another big act. He still has a huge fan base and is coming off a hiatus.

Kanye fans are more rabid than the Hive. You'll be fighting for those tickets with a bunch of desperate 19 year olds in fake Off-White shirts.

A day that wasn’t selling sold out within the week. Weekend passes s remained.

Ok everyone calm down.
Go look at the post history of these "leakers," they are teenagers who got banned from r/Kanye for leaking fake info. IDK how they got this ONE THING correct (the song played at Kanye's Sunday show), but that single guess does not mean they have insider info about Coachella.
Seriously, check out their history, they are literal kids who have been making videos like "Kanye theories certified wavey haha lol xo" and "will XXX be on Yandhi NEW SKOOP" on YouTube for a while. They are just Kanye stans who went a bit too far this time, and somehow managed to fool the Coachella community.....

I haven't independently verified this because I don't subscribe to Apple Music, but somebody on Reddit has said that songs by 5 Seconds of Summer, Lee Foss, and Everything but the Girl were just added to Coachella's official Apple Music playlists, as well as Bakar who was originally taken off the lineup.

I don’t doubt that the person knows somebody that may be attending the Sunday Services, but Kanye performing in 19 could be taken way out of context. He could show up as a guest, or they could have locked down his performance with the dome for 2020 and that’s what was overheard and misinterpreted as a 19 performance. The guy literally has one leak so I wouldn’t call him a sure thing. He’s definitely a teenager you can tell by the way he responds to anybody doubting him.
Also while I too have ginormous doubts, confirming Lift Off as a song played is pretty impressive. That song (which sucks IMO) has never been played live by Kanye before. It's not like predicting him to play Gold Digger at a big concert.
I buy that he heard something about 2020 but 2019 seems like a stretch. He'd have to co-headline with Ari and while we definitely have the space (watch us struggle to fill tents on Sunday in the predictions thread), that's still hard to pull off given the production both have and the fact that neither could conceivably play for less than 90 (unlike The Strokes 60 or so minutes in 2011).

I'm so out of touch that I just assumed it was some emo-pop band based on the name and playlist LOL.
Everything but the girl! I assume it’s a remix of their stuff by someone, they haven’t performed in 20 years.
Edit: just looked, Lee Foss is in the beergarden playlist, EBTG is in Lying Down On the Lawn

Dunno, I don’t have a subscription but you can browse the song titles without one. Obviously could be a mistake but odd to have three mistakes in three playlists
If it’s really happening it’ll be either announced or leaked by a credible outlet, so no sense giving these reddit kids the Zapruder treatment.
I already took out a home equity line and bought 134 Wk 2 wristbands to scalp based on the presumed credibility of these reddit teens and travelfan's guarantee that prices would go through the stratosphere, so please continue the Zapruder treatment.
