A lot of things have to fall into place, but I think he's for sure a lock as a sub if he's booked. Anything can happen to push a sub to headliner status though and there's a lot of time for him to push himself up.
If were playing the "what is more likely" game, I'm going to call him as a 2020 sub. Making my prediction early.
I am a fan of his early work but pretty much can't stand his current live show....it's just so boring, has weak transitions, very few "live" portions. It really is him just playing his tracks over large speakers.
Now....if he changes that and makes a massive upgrade to the show, and his album is stupid huge, I can imagine a world where he's a budget Friday headliner or co-headliner. I don't think this is likely, but it's not impossible. The last electronic HL we had is just leagues above Flume in popularity and clout, which is how I imagine GV was comfortable with booking a DJ to headline. I think it would take a lot of ducks to line up for another electronic artist to headline.

Feeling whelmed. Sonny Fodera was actually sweet at CRSSD, very "DoLab" i.e. lots of vocal samples/silly DirtyBird stuff, etc, so looking forward to that as a fun day-time set.
Other than that there are some names, but few that will get me to visit the tent outside of just to cool off.
