This could be a do or die year for the Sonora. It's the most centrally located stage now, and the lineup is strong. If it can't draw this year, it's never going to.
FRIDAY: Let's Eat Grandma > Robertas/Tucanes > Turnstile > Beach Fossils > JPEGMAFIA > Kacey > Tierra Whack > Rosalía > end of The 1975 > Janelle Monae > Charlotte Gainsbourg > Childish Gambino (Bummed about missing Blackpink and US Girls. I'm seeing Kero Kero Bonito at their own show on Monday, so not worried about missing them)
SATURDAY: CHON > Messthetics > Ty & White Fence > shame > Sheck Wes > Deep Dish > Four Tet > Aphex > Tame > Cudi (maybe) (No real conflicts really for me on this day. I've seen Hop Along so many times anyway)
SUNDAY: Jan Blomqvist > Mansionair > Burna Boy > Iceage > Pusha T > Soccer Mommy > Blood Orange > YG > Gesaffelstein > Perfume > Jon Hopkins > Ariana (This day kind of blows TBH. Pusha T vs SOB X RBE is infuriating. Definitely my least favorite day. I'm going W2, so hopefully the church service is good.)
Interpol & The Walkmen 11.23 I Am Morbid/Suffocation 11.26 King Diamond 11.29 Sadistic Intent/Massacre 11.30 70K Tons Of Metal 2025 Hell's Heroes 2025 Sick New World 2025 Maryland Deathfest 2025

The problem has never been the location, IMO. The problem is booking a tent full of small acts for a niche audience, but then booking virtually no bigger acts that appeal to that same niche audience.

Well, I'm already on record saying the location wasn't the problem. I do think the new location could help with random pop ins and people looking to fill down time, though.
Love that the Sonora is so much closer to the Beer Barn. They seem to have done away with that dead VIP area that was by the Gobi last year. I'll never understand why people think it's worth paying $500 more for VIP...

I think the location was much less of a problem last year, but I still definitely think it was a problem. The other problem is what you mention. I think having these three tents together is going to help them all, though. I love this map.

Did anyone notice the bar in the Sonora this year?!?!

Friday: Ross From Friends > Los Tucanes de Tijuana > Beach Fossils/Mon Laferte > Amelie Lens > Anderson Paak > U.S. Girls > Khruangbin > Nina Kraviz > Yves Tumor/HS82.Lauren Lane.Nic Fanciuli
Saturday: Heidi Lawden > The Red Pears > Jambinai/The Messthetics > Ty Segall & White Fence > Shame > Mac Demarco > Deep Dish/The Garden > Four Tet > Aphex Twin > Tame Impala > Stephan Bodzin
Pretty pleased with this schedule. Only real conflict is The Messthetics vs Jambinai but I'll prob split those sets. There's a few gaps on Sunday so might do a little more research.

I wish we got set times for the beer barn/the special beer booth.
there will be performances there? Or are you referring to Heineken?
I meant I'm an alcoholic and I would like to know what specifically I'm going to fuel my demon with. Really though, they had a special little section with rare beers the past couple years in the craft beer barn. KBS and other good stuff.
