Disclosure as sub or third name makes perfect sense. I hope their third album isn't as big of a stinker as Caracal.
I actually enjoy this album when I revisit now. I think a lot of the negative views stemmed from Disclosure fatigue. They were literally everywhere and that album was merely a lesser extension of the first. It still made for a solid show.

Interesting, I'll return to it and see what I think now. I just remember being so damn disappointed, though there were a few highlights.
after their first album i thought they were harbingers of a "purer" house-music sound becoming more popular in EDM and pop, which was very exciting to me. this did not end up being the case, i don't think their success had any impact on EDM at all. then i couldn't connect with their second album, i think it was because the mix/mastering tended more towards a muddled top 40 tonality rather than an emphasis on clean and clear beats, or maybe the songwriting just wasn't as good.
but i'm still interested in hearing whatever new music they have coming. plus i've never seen them live.
Yeah, they sorta drifted toward the producing-for-popstars route after the huge success of Latch with Sam Smith.

I saw them twice on that tour and came away appreciating Caracal much more than on first listen. They really just set the bar too high with their first release.

disclosure fatigue was real. they played a two night run in philly. I've never seen the fillmore that empty. I went night one and ticketmaster gave me free tickets to night two.

Boygenius singles are out. One with each member as lead vocals. Gotta say that I’m more of a fan of JB and Phoebe, but Lucy as lead sounds better for the group.
Tour was announced and it’s just November and finishes in LA at the Wiltern before the radius clause starts, so they’re still open for Coachella. Would love all of them as boygenius, but would happily take any of them as solo acts for a nice early day set.

Disclosure seems like one of those acts that draws better at festivals than at solo shows
Interpol just extended their tour into early 2019. Would actually say they are actually slightly less likely now given that they are covering the logical "between weekend" cities (Portland, Seattle, Vancouver) in February. At least a decent sign they'll be active next year, but nobody ever doubted that.

When I saw Gessafelstein he was chain smoking and wearing completely blacked out sunglasses and every light in the club was off. No idea how he could see anything but he burnt the place to the ground.

Nicki Minaj pushed her tour til May 2019, but I don’t think they’ve actually announced the new dates. A Coachella appearance would be a good way to drum up some ticket sales....
However, Page Six reports that a Live Nation source informed them ticket sales for the North American tour dates are poor. “Nicki’s tour could be the most disappointing ticket sales of the year for any artist,” the source stated. “These are big arenas with up to 20,000 capacities. Sales for opening night in Baltimore is 2,000 tickets. LA is 3,400, New Orleans 1,000, Denver 1,300, Chicago 3,900. Even her hometown Brooklyn is only 5,050.”
