and then they played at the same time as everything else
I just went back and looked at the set times;I don't see any conflicts really for either of their last appearances
Think he meant Soulwax and Moderat conflicted against big, similar acts. Moderat vs Royksopp and Soulwax vs Maceo Plex, Jean Michel-Jarre and Detroit Love.

Yeah, this. And even with those conflicts Moderat and Soulwax packed their tents which was nice to see.

uhh Moderat conflicted with Royksopp and Four Tet/Daphni/Floating Points and Soulwax conflicted with Detroit Love, Maceo Plex and Jean Michel-Jarre
Royksopp is fair, but those other three are always around/touring that conflicted with Moderat. As for Soulwax you could have seen an hour of Detroit Love, Maceo Plex is always around, and if you're skipping them for Jean Michel-Jarre well then I don't know what you're doing

Four Tet b2b Daphni b2b Floating Points is not something you can see very often. Maceo Plex was debuting a new live show. Jean Michel-Jarre a legend. Seeing the first hour of a b2b2b DJ set is bull shit.

b2b2b2 sets are often cooler on paper than in actuality
Everyone from this board that saw Detroit Love said it was great. Also those acts have like 100% crossover of fans so I don't really know what you're trying to argue. People constantly complained about those conflicts here, reddit, the Coachella boards, etc.

I think the difference between SZA and Solange or Anderson Paak or even HAIM is that she had two big singles and an AOTY Grammy nomination.
Also true, but Solange's last album did very well review wise from critics and people
I personally don't think of her as a sub b/c she doesn't have any huge hits to warrant the 2nd spot, especially currently. But I can see the argument being made. I am assuming she has a new album by next Coachella or she wouldn't even be a sub option
Taking Back Sunday out - playing Palladium in April.
Their tour almost seemed somewhat routed for Coachella, tho, so wondering if they tried to make it happen and GV already has the early third line throwback rock set lined up. At least that's what I'm telling myself.
