Coachella 2019

I think he'd be three or four on his day. 

The only rock band I’m really hoping for is Vampire Weekend. Otherwise it’s mostly stuff I like but have seen recently. I think there’s something to be said for the lack of fresh blood in the indie rock scene (there are some great new bands out there, but it seems like they’re having trouble breaking through), but I also feel like those acts tour a lot more, and seeing them on a festival lineup doesn’t have as much of a wow factor.

So I can't imagine what he'd think of Coachella.. 


All the same - Legacy of the Beast tour should be coming across sometime in 2019. So even when they don't play Coachella there'll be lots of chances to catch them. 
When I was in Madrid for Mad Cool last month, Maiden played that Saturday not too far away at the soccer stadium. Broke my heart knowing they were just 20 minutes away.

Fun fact: My username is a Maiden reference. 

Seems they do the same metal fest circuit every tour in Europe. Download, Grass Pop,  etc. Fests in North America? I have very minimal ideas. 

Initially, It was a singular 'Doctor' while came from what my friends dad randomly called me for no reason. Then, Maiden.


And right.. Those dates did line up perfectly. Were those Forum dates apart of the initial lineup announcement or were they maybe announced later after talks fell through.. We'll never know..

I recall that in the last couple of years truevine said Goldenvoice offered him playing Coachella and a SF date. Maybe something similar was worked out this time, playing somewhere in the west coast or in Mexico in between Coachella weekends.

From what I’ve seen on YouTube yes. The new stuff is pretty tight and Julian has gotten way better at singing

I mean I would love to post about that in the Argument thread, but apparently it's not happening. I still believe in Mexico though.

After watching the collapse video I just want to see that in Sahara. Throw every rap artist in there and Aphex whenever. I’ll be fine with that. Pretty sure he’ll be outdoor though.

if its goldenvoice for all three shows, probably more likely to be Terminal 5 in NYC which they also own and operate
