Yeah to be fair the 3rd line and down is actually pretty good for the most part. Kind of tired of P.tM for now but would see Kendrick, Janelle, Revivalists, Kacey, Sylvan, Borns, First Aid Kit, RKS, Chromeo and Robert DeLong.
Anyone that's going to this make sure to check out Robert DeLong. Guy has some serious talent

Kendrick, P.tm, Sylvan Esso, RKS, Chromeo, First Aid Kit. that's it. I would say what a letdown, but MM disappoints pretty much every year. definitely looking into Voodoo Fest over this dumpster fire
You could shake a pretty good day out of it for sure. A day with Kendrick, Janelle, Sylvan Esso, First Aid Kit? Baby, you got a stew going.
seems like a lot of these rock bands are getting booked lower and lower every year. I personally cant stand Awolnation, but I know a lot of rock fans really like them and they are 19th on a two day music midtown lineup. wild.
Woof on the top line! I’d see Kendrick and that’s it. Undercard is actually pretty good for this! Not worth the 8 hour drive for us. Even with two free places to stay we will skip this year!
30 Seconds to Mars just lost their lead guitarist- think they’ll stay on the lineup if they’re having issues?
considering they have done their entire tour to this point without Tomo, I think theyll be fine. Whole situation is pretty weird tho, especially with the dude writing a long statement about leaving the band and neither of the Letos saying anything. I have a sneaking suspicion that there is a Me Too article in the coming weeks here

Also wondering where Odesza is at. They looked like such a lock for Beats and weren't there. They had an opening around time for Music Midtown but weren't there, and they're not on the Imagine lineup either. Doubt they could be a late addition for Midtown as they're too big for that.
Robert DeLong just announced a show at the Roxy for anyone wanting to see him in a venue
Having trouble finding anything about this. Would love to see him in a venue. Was a specific date announced?
it was posted on Bandsintown for October 31st but the Ticketmaster link attached is broken and he hasn’t posted anything about it so it could be a mistake

Ive seen him 4 or 5 times and each time i became more impressed with his uniqueness and musical abilities. Look forward to seeing how he has grown and hearing his new stuff.
I may do this if I can get a band for $100. I just don’t want to fund this festival directly.
I'm in the same boat, there's enough to see here for $100 and dip on all the the headliners except Kendrick. Just checked out of curiosity and tickets are $184 with fees. Fuck that.
This fest had a pretty interesting undercard to start for me and the schedule makes it decently possible to see a ton of it. Im not going but my Saturday would be Yuno-> Twin Shadow-> Billie Ellish-> Borns -> Kacey Musgraves-> Revivalists -> Portgual the Man Pretty good day of music
So I guess with the schedule out that means there won't be any additions. Shouldn't have been holding out hope for the Paramore add.
Yeah they were for sure in talks with Paramore and it was a very real possibility but I guess the stars just didn't align. No need to add artists if it's selling well.
