Arctic Monkeys debuted 5 new songs last night. I've only listened to one (think it was called Four out of Five) and it sounded great. Super jealous of anyone going to the BK show next week.

I'm one of the people you'll be jealous of! If I find an extra, I'll let you know. I also recommend checking day of or even going to the box office if you're nearby. Could be that there's a large guest list for this show (given it's NYC) and if all the spots aren't full they'll release a few tickets.

That'd be awesome thanks man! BK Steel is definitely a little far for me to try my luck with the box office, but I'll definitely keep my eyes peeled on bowery presents if they release some week of.

I'm trying to sell an extra ticket for the Liam Gallagher/Richard Ashcroft show at Central Park next Wednesday. Send me a message if you're interested!
Kings Of Leon are playing the seaport in that new set up they have. Tickets cost a nice $125 so...given that KOL has cooled off a bit popularity-wise, I don't foresee this being a hard show to get into for those interested.
KOL are still an arena selling act, and this venue is like what, a 3k capacity? I'm sure this'll sell out pretty quickly.
Yeah though I think their demand has calmed down a bit. This will sell out but not going for absurd prices. I'm interested since I missed them the last few go-arounds on WALLS but not going to commit yet.

You think Chicago's lineup is better?! I'm blown away by the NYC one. Will definitely be trying to hit up the Action Bronson, Slowdive, Against Me and Interpol shows.

Burnt out on Bronson. Saw him 3 times last year (my own fault). Against Me isnt really my thing. Interpol could be cool.
I love the new Iceage album, Princess Nokia is pretty great (not a fan of her new emo album tho), and I love UMO and Wolf Parade.
I have a feeling Arcade Fire will play one of these shows at the Pier. No inside knowledge but it seems like the only way they'd be able to play the area again is to hype up an underplay.

You may be right, but only if they aren't already booked for the Meadows.
Chicago got the better deal. But that Slowdive night sounds good
I see the info about when RSVPs open, but anybody know what the process is like getting tickets for these shows?
Its pretty easy. Just keep in mind they give out more RSVPs than the capacity, so you gotta make sure you get there early enough to ensure entry. I've gone twice and I never got turned away. Usually get there right when they say doors open.
I had a nightmare time trying to get into Tokyo Police Club/Against Me in 2011. Huge line turned away but both bands were relatively bigger then so I assume it just depends on who's playing.

Slowdive is on a Saturday, so lining up for that one will require more time.
Also, do bands play abridged sets at House of Vans, or are their shows equivalent to what they play elsewhere?

I hope not. Prices for shows at that pier are ridiculous. $127 for a Kings of Leon concert in 2018 lol

So I take it they're not playing the Meadows? Haha. Yeah, it'll be $100 or so if they play that Pier and, given the other venue sizes they're doing this summer (step down from arenas), seems like the only worthwhile move for them.
