I've yet to go to a show there, not that there are too many.
Don't enjoy going there. It's around 175th st which is a fucking haul (not that King's Theater is that convenient either). Additionally, the lobby has minimal room to move around in if it gets crowded and the seats are super close together. Bowery Presents tried to revitalize it back in '07 by holding some shows well suited for space (Sigur Ros, Arcade Fire) and some that were really awkward there (Interpol, Bloc Party, Smashing Pumpkins).
Finally a reasonably priced show at Forest Hills. I'm gonna aim for some GA floor tickets.
Floor is $79 + fees so will probably be around $92-93 a ticket.
Yeah but that's what i'd expect for up close at an arena for a highly anticipated act. Check the prices for other Forest Hills shows like David Byrne and Robert Plant. Hella pricey.

How close? I'm going to United Palace solo, since for me its more convenient coming from NJ than going to BK so I didn't do that much research on that venue.

If you are coming into Penn and get an express A train, should be about 35 min. Problem is the A seems to run local post-10pm (I've yet to figure out the schedule since it always seems to be switching) which means it could take 45-50 min to get back to Penn after the show.

Follow up - that was the least stressful ticket purchase experience I've had all year. Got 2 GA floor tickets, came to about $85 each after fees.
Only thing I don't like is this delivery system.....tickets are only accessible via some app and you can't access them until 3 days before the show. I get that they're trying to crack down on scalpers, but it kinda sucks for people who can just no longer go and need to get rid of their tickets.
Got my GA Arctic Monkeys ticket. Offered me some lame seat beforehand but I just went "Nah brah" and threw it back. Thankfully GA popped up and, as I type this, still available in case people are curious.
Hoping I have the same luck tomorrow for Paramore/Foster The People @ Barclays. Still confused about whether there's a seated or GA floor for that one.

Is floor the only GA for this event? cause it only says GA on my section and I did exactly the same thing as you...sucks that this event will have delivery delay (72 hrs before the show)

Check your email confirmation. Should say FLOOR under section. I believe the bleachers are assigned but I’m always on the floor so don’t know or sure.

I doubt it so I ended up going back to the sale site, did the same and re-check every step on the ticket selection but the site went down on me or blocked my ip thinking I was a bot fuck!!!!!
Edit: NVM, ended up buying it by opening another browser, weird that it didn't work on Chrome or my iphone.

You can buy/sell through the flash seats app I believe. I think there is delayed delivery for this show though.
