So, Pearl Jam just sent out this mysterious thing that says you're supposed to look at certain images in a handful of cities through the Facebook or Instagram camera lens. I'm assuming it's teasing something.
One of the markers is in NYC.
I will straight freak if this is a show announcement.
Pearl Jam message board seems to think its a new album and each location will have a preview of an album track. They also have a lot of tour rumors including New York. Either way, tour and/or album announcement seems like it''ll be coming shortly

Aside from Global Citizen Fest, I always get screwed out of Pearl Jam tickets. Keeping my fingers crossed.
As much as I hate to say this, they really need to play a baseball stadium here. With the amount of side deals that all the brokers and corporations have at MSG, there is always little to no chance of even getting in the building when Pearl Jam plays there.

I lucked out one time in the fan club lottery and landed GA floor in Worcester, MA, in 2013. But given how infrequently they've been in town, this is going to be a situation in which I'm willing to break the back for secondhand tix if I need to.
EDITED TO ADD: 3/30 at MSG confirmed. They're doing a verified fan presale on January 23rd, with general onsale on January 24th.

Ergh, and the VF presale and general sale will be when I am upstate on a staff retreat, I am going to have to fake the runs and hunker in the bathroom to get a ticket, lol.

Eh, shouldn't matter. I already know what's going to happen:
1) Most of us will be waitlisted for verified fan
2) Most of us will log in on Friday to buy, be put in a waiting line of 2000+ people which will slowly update until we receive a message that most tickets are gone
3) Resale market will explode and/or 2nd date will be added

Seems like this will only be the case for NY and Denver. All other cities are resale restricted.

Rage at Citi Field/Yankee Stadium would make a ton of sense. They could possibly do MetLife but may need support like they did in 2011 at the LA Coliseum (w/Muse, Rise Against, Lauren Hill, etc)
Hmm, seems like the Lord wants me to go to Pearl Jam (and the 1975, for that matter), I just got off the hook for staff retreat, which never happens! Due to other work, but still... So no problem going for tix now (well other than demand of course).

Oh my god I'm so gonna be at that Bright Eyes show at Forest Hills. Lucy Dacus and Japanese Breakfast opening too.
Also I was impressed to see that the Halsey show already sold out and they added a second night. This has gotta be the first FH show in a while that demanded a second night.

Bright Eyes is on sale right now too! Looks like GA floor is out of stock for now, though.

Yeah, I was on the fence on Bright Eyes, but when I saw Lucy Dacus and JBrekkie were opening, that sold me on it. I'm in.

I had tried to sign up for Ten Club 3 or 4 times over the years but always encountered technical difficulties, so never could join... Also got Verified Fan waitlisted, so am slugging it out on Friday too.

I tried the Bright Eyes presale 5 hours after it started and was still able to pull GA tickets. I didn't end up pulling the trigger, though. Just good to know that this won't be an instant sell out.....I need time to collect my pennies.

Yeah, I want to try the "wait and get Tix later" approach a lot of others discussed in here for shows but I think I'll buy the GA ticket to this when on sale. The venue is convenient for me and I really want to catch this show.

Got my tickets for The 1975/Phoebe Bridgers at MSG. It's funny, I selected seats 10 & 11 in my row and they were $50 each before fees, but if I wanted seats 8 & 9 they were $60. And they weren't aisle seats.
I also scored for The 1975, and they are taking dynamic pricing to a whole new level...clicked on a seat that showed for $80 and on the next screen the price had jumped to $100 just like that - both before fees. Can they do that, seems very deceptive! TM/LiveNation are thieves anyway.

I'm hoping some of the GA tickets for The 1975 are available during the general on sale. Also, for Pearl Jam tomorrow, expecting to be shut out. One MSG date can NO accommodate demand.
