Thinking about traveling up to a show at Warsaw, Brooklyn in a couple months. Do y'all remember whether the venue has a coat check that includes regular backpacks?
EOB (Ed O'Brien of Radiohead's solo project) at Brooklyn Steel on, of all days, June 5th - first day, and most overlapping audience lineup day of Governors Ball. Makes me wonder why GovBall didn't get him. Glad I caught him at (le) poisson rouge earlier this month. I still expect this to sell out, not instantly though.

I kinda hope it doesn’t, so I can keep it in my back pocket in the event Day 1 of GovBall gets stormed out.

I know they require you to coat check any larger backpacks ... I'm not sure if they charge the coat & the backpack as separate items thus costing more.

Thanks! I'm fine with paying extra, just don't want to get stuck in some way.
Tool at Nassau would be cool but it is a fucking pain in the ass to get to that place. I’m always nervous about finding a cab/Uber to the train station after so I end up missing the last song. Also that Hempstead train station is....not in that great of an area.

Wondering what demand will be like for this show. Had to bail on their last go around due to it being crazy expensive.
Any reason to think the secondary market will be better for this one?
Whitney & Weyes Blood, 8/6 at Central Park Summerstage
Speaking of, did anyone go to the upgraded CP Summerstage this year? Is it that much nicer?
Also, Norah Jones & Mavis Staples announced for Prospect Park on 7/28
The good and the bad balance each other, I think. The good - those pesky posts are gone, bathrooms are in a better spot behind risers. The bad - it seems more cramped, fewer riser seats for non-members. Don't think the food options were as good as before.

New Order & Pet Shop Boys @ Madison Square Garden 9/12
Was interested in The Black KEys w/Gary Clark Jr but the floor tickets are $200/each plus fees. Have a feeling this will be an easy Stubhub grab around show date.

Sheesh that's kind of ridiculous for Jones Beach... I have a feeling that even direct from venue prices will go down. I like recorded Black Keys but they are kinda dull live, Dan Auerbach is not engaging at all.

The Barclays show recently just felt like the band going through the motions, with all sorts of dumb scripted banter meant to show how they're going back to their roots so to speak ("We're going back to the basement on this one", etc.) Was funny seeing how jarring Modest Mouse was to people who only knew "Float On".
