I feel the same way I always do with this poster, which is a bunch of names I like, but not on the same day. A good 3 names per day I would dig (though at the BSS Troubadour show, Kevin Drew said they felt kinda awkward about performing YFIIP at a festival), but not worth shelling out for me. Hoping for another BSS side show!
I’m really hoping this means BSS will be doing a You Forgot It in People tour. I love all their albums, newer ones too, but that one is still unmatched for me. It’d be wild to see it live, start to finish. Glad they’re still playing together and making music despite the pandemic too.

According to Kevin, they've done a few YFIIP performances at festivals because the festivals specifically paid them to perform that album. It doesn't sound like he's too thrilled about it (but he'll take the festival paycheck and exposure), so I feel we won't ever see a proper tour of it, unless they get really long in the tooth and need to relive their glory days. They perform the bulk of that album at their shows anyway, at least.

I think I need a few more years until I start feeling nostalgic for my senior year of college, which is basically what that Sunday is. (I'll also be out of town that week, so I guess that's the primary hurdle.) Afghan Whigs is a nice booking.
