Miraculously I was browsing the KCRW contest page and saw the event, then pulled up the venue to see if it was a public event, it was on sale, and I bought a pair (2 max, $20 no fees). Minutes later, Annie posted about it.
Gave me a perfect excuse to bail on a dinner thing tomorrow that I was trying to get out of anyway!

Its always those random times when something is just sitting there and nobody knows about it. It easily had to have been sitting there for way longer and nobody noticed.

Not sure if this was just activated today with the Live Nation discounts or if it's been active since the start of Netflix's comedy fest, but I like you lot enough to share. It was announced and went on sale April 6th, but point remains that it is intriguing. I would have already bought a ticket if I wasn't going to Just Like Heaven on Saturday.

I went to the BSS shindig. It somehow topped the 2018 Troubadour experience for me. Judd Apatow and Rory Scovel did standup sets to open. Kevin was just hanging in the bar beforehand. Metric did some acoustic tracks. The BSS portion opened with "It's All Gonna Break", which is the very definition of a power move.
Oh, the two women I was sitting next to were lovely! The taller brunette women said she loved my hair - I think her name was Lucy Dacus? Didn't get to talk to the other one, but I believe her name was Julien Baker or something like that. Anyway, I wish them well and hope they go places.

It really was an awesome show, wasn't it! I was bummed that Feist didn't make it out, but understandable that she was saving her voice for Kimmel as Kevin said.
