We didn’t go last year, but I liked Red Bull TV. Greatly helped our FOMO. I hope Twitter does as good of a job this year for everyone sitting this one out.

I’ll be watching. I’d be going this year if the schedule had come together for me (my personal schedule, not the fest). I’m hoping to be back next year
can you couch tour twitter? I doubt it. I liked being able to watch on my roku
Yeah. You just have to open a browser and go to Twitter Bonnaroo Live Stream. You don't need a Twitter Account. It will take you to the page that will broadcast. That's how Boston Calling was streamed, and they had 2 channels active. It wasn't quite as good as Red Bull's 3 channels and usually excellent quality, but it was decent for sure.
I'm torn. I don't know if I'll enjoy watching or if it will further break my heart.
Also, yeah, it would be preferable to be able to watch via Roku instead of a computer screen or my phone.
I was nervous about that too. I was prepared to feel crushed, but it turned out to be the opposite for me last year—which is strange since I’m the first to get nostalgic. There was something about seeing the Farm, seeing people having the time of their lives—that made me feel like I shared in the experience and that joy just by relating to what was happening onscreen. I know that sounds odd.
Also, I’m not sure if this works, but I’ve been able to watch Live Twitter through the Twitter app on an Amazon Fire Stick. (It was for NFL Thursday Night Football last year or the year before.) Not sure if that’s an option for anyone—or if it’ll work the same with Bonnaroo—but might be worth trying if you have a Fire Stick or something similar.
Yeah cd, you will have to download the Twitter App for your Roku or if you have an X-box or PS, you can link directly from Microsoft Edge. It should be easy enough.
The first couple years I couldn't go to Roo, watching the live stream both helped and hindered with the FOMO. On one hand, I could still see 60% of what I wanted - without leaving home. On the other, I still missed actually being there and all the experience and friends and whatnot.
Throwing a party with other Inforoo folks that stayed home helps.

I chat daily with a group of inforoos on messenger. It is so super quiet in our group chat now. I miss my friends.
Even here-- I used to enjoy seeing the just arrived thread to read about the drama of arrival. Now: NCAA basketball, Politics, and Now Playing carries posts every 3 hours.

Its sad, I know. I have, as most of the people here, fantastic memories of bonnaroo. UM 12, Jack White 14, Radiohead 12, mmj 11 (and 08, I think, wasn't there), the Superjam, but people will make their own memories. Like all of us did. I wish the lineup was better. I'd be there if it was, but I hope that everyone makes their own fantastic memories!

Is there even any activity in that thread? I thought I had it bookmarked and I haven't gotten a notification. I did read the facebook inforoo thread a bit this morning. Had a great laugh, that place is a hot mess.
Surprisingly no schedule yet for what's on the stream, even though it starts in like 6-7 hours
What they did last weekend was when you went to the site before you clicked on the "play" arrow, it had the schedule for channels 1 and 2. Though they ended up not being right (that happens all the time with almost every platform), they were fairly close. The other thing they had was a blue "button" that allowed you to mouse click (or "X" click depending on your console) and switch between Channels 1 and 2. I picked up a handle of Beam, and I'm going to be hopefully getting live looks in. I'm waiting on the day 1 reviews from everyone.
Stream schedule is a joke. They go from Redbull with 3 channels to 8 total artists for the day.
Yea what's up with that? Were they not getting the amount of traffic they wanted last year on RBT, so they axed it? There's really no reason to even watch the live stream this year on twitter... There's nobody I want to see and there's so few options. So disappointing...

I'm gonna try to watch the streams tonight, but I think it's safe to say this is a major step down from previous years. Only one channel? When BC had two, and in previous years Roo had three? I'm sick of LN treating my favorite major festival like their red-headed stepchild.

Sheryl Crow has been decent. She covered Midnight Rider and teased Rolling Stones Heartbreaker on bass and played guitar and harmonica (and some keys). Fine for a day set. But like I said in that other thread, fuck that unannounced performer tease and fuck the crowd for not throwing her a beer or j.
