1. Bon Iver 2nd Set (pit) - Every single guest killed it. It was such a unique experience where you didn't know what to expect next. Francis and the Lights singing "Reborn" off of Kids See Ghosts was a huge highlight for me personally (even if it was only for like 60 seconds). I do feel bad for anyone that missed the first show and expected the second set to be just another straight Bon Iver concert. It should have been advertised "Bon Iver and Friends" or something like that. But a Bon Iver Superjam late night on the Which Stage seems like something the "old Bonnaroo" would have done, so I really appreciated that.
2. Thundercat (rail) - Perfect way to end my Bonnaroo. I really enjoyed both the simple catchy parts of the show and the more complicated free-form Jazz sections. Being front and center was also nice because I could really pay attention to the musicians on stage and how awesome they were playing. Especially the drummer who blew me away.
3. Anderson .Paak (pit) - One of my favorite parts about Bonnaroo is getting pit for a main act after the sun goes down. You're at the very front, everyone around you is a superfan, and there's so much room to dance and jump around. The entire show was a non-stop party. Anderson .Paak looked like a headliner up there. The production was super on point and he really took advantage of the What Stage.
4. Bon Iver 1st Set - It was my very first time seeing Bon Iver and obviously did not disappoint. It was pretty much just a normal Bon Iver concert. For the most part I got to hear everything I wanted from him in that one set. I got very lucky maneuvering my way around the Which Stage and then seeing the line for the second set. I got in the pit line about halfway through the show and still had a perfect view of the stage. It was pretty surprising how many people were in line while the first show was still going on.
5. Cage the Elephant (secret set) - So obviously Thursday shows aren't even close to what they used to be. But seeing Cage the Elephant inside a small packed venue with only 700 people inside definitely made up for that. We saw the announcement around 9pm and decided to head over there right then to beat the crowd (also there wasn't really much else to see tbh). I can't say I'm even the biggest CTE fan, but I needed to have at least one rowdy Thursday night Rock concert and they filled that void for me.
6. Denzel Curry - Holy shit this show destroyed me for the entire day. The moshpits were so much fun and so fucking intense. I've never felt so sweaty in my life. It makes me wonder how crazy Brockhampton would have been at 1:30 am.
7. Pond - Such a great band to see live. The sound was on point, the visuals were great, and their singer is just so damn entertaining. They all seemed like they were having a great time onstage.
8. Daniel Caesar - Such a flawless singer with an amazing band. The crowd's enthusiasm also really added to the show. A perfect artist for sunset at Bonnaroo
9. Ron Gallo - I wasn't sure what the hype around him was about until I saw him play. I thought his songs were good but nothing really special. But holy shit his band fucking shreds. I also really appreciate artists who can make me laugh constantly throughout their show.
10. Rufus Du Sol - This show was so fucking magical for me. We started out on the side rail towards the front right next to VIP but then moved outside the tent after a few songs. I spent maybe 15 minutes laying in the grass looking up at the stars thinking "holy shit I'm at Bonnaroo what is my life right now" before getting up to dance again. Hearing "You Were Right" played live hit me in all the right feels.
Honorable mentions to Broken Social Scene, Japanese Breakfast, Amadou & Mariam, The Regrettes, Chic Featuring Nile Rodgers, T-Pain, Clozee (silent disco set), and Westside Gunn. I can't believe how many great shows I saw this year.
1. Superjam- first couple songs had me worried. But once they started with the guest singers it was pure magic. I dont say this lightly, but its up there with the ?uestlove jams and a notch below jim james and Co. 2. Trombone shorty- first set of my weekend and knew it would be hard to top. Seen them 5 times and they keep getting better 3. Chic- love when the young and old can get down together to songs everybody loves. The dance party in the pit was beautiful 4. Paak- future headliner for sure! 5. Moon taxi - wishing they had a longer set. Replace one of their new songs with their traditional rage cover, and it would have been the perfect hour 6. Jungle- should have skipped bss entirely. This was more fun and i missed the free pizza. Kudos to the dance moves from everyone along the right rail 7. War & treaty- both singers were literally in tears at the multiple applause breaks from the crowd. Could really feel the love, and had me watering up as well hearing his story 8. Ikebe shakedown- best new find of the weekend 9. STS9 - Bon iver almost put me to sleep, and they saved the evening 10. Sturgill Simpson- i write off most new country music as trash, but had no idea how good a guitar player he was. Plus, he delivered my favorite line of the weekend "my mid life crisis is fuckin dope!"
HM: st. Paul, alt j, old crow, revivalists. Conflicts are a bitch but what i heard sounded great!
1. Muse (Pit) 2. The Killers (Pit) 3. St Paul and the Broken Bones 4. Chic (Pit) 5. Sturgill 6. Glitch Mob 7. Jungle (Pit) 8. Eminem 9. Paramore 10 Spencer Lee Band

Sad I missed jungle. Was way to dead to go into centeroo until later Sunday.
1 sturgill 2 chic 3 Bon Iver 2 4 space jesus 5 Ikebe shakedown 6 Bon Iver 1 7 sylvan esso 8 Anderson paak 9 Shiba San 10 jungle
That's an interesting and fairly unique Top 10 there zac.
I only talked to one of my kids, he missed Muse, and I'll edit in what the other two say whenever I talk to them. But he had it
1. Eminem
2. STS9
3. Spafford
4. Anderson.Paak & The Free Nationals
5. Pigeons Playing Ping Pong
Talked to my oldest, his 6th in a row, who said they really didn’t see anything that sucked. Mentioned Spafford, Pigeons, Eminem and Muse as great. Enjoyed some of Pond. Loved Reggie Watts. Saw some of CloZee’s regular set where she said she’d be on Kalliope later, so went to that which was dope. Opiuo was up there. Had fun at Playboi Carti and Killers. Missed Tribe when his old lady dragged him to camp so he would go to sleep. (Haha. Late nights at Bobnaroos are always unpredictable. )

1. Bon Iver 1 2. Anderson Paak 3. Muse 4. Rufus Du Sol 5. Nile Rodgers featuring Chic 6. Trombone Shorty 7. Pond 8. Everything Everything 9. Eminem 10. Alt J
This keeps changing for me and becomes tough after Trombone Shorty. 7-10 + BSS and Sylvan are basically all worth of the 7 spot. I would put tier cut offs after 2, 4, and 6.

Didn’t see a set I didn’t thoroughly enjoy, save for LANY (if that counts, seeing as I pretty much just napped in the What field during that).

Saturday night was legendary. Friday as a whole was awesome from beginning to end. Thursday was my favorite first day of Roo since I’ve been going, and Sunday was a solid closing day with fantastic sets across the board. As a whole, phenomenal weekend. I could’ve easily listed 5+ more acts in the honorable mentions tbh. I’m missing the farm tons already.

1. Bon Iver (First Set) - this one absolutely blew me away. I don’t have enough good things to say about it really. Hands down my favorite show I’ve seen, not only at Bonnaroo but in general. I cried the whole time, it was fantastic.
2. Alt-J - fantastic! The light show was really really cool and the setlist was perfection.
3. Muse - a close second behind LCD Soundsystem for my favorite headliner I’ve seen at Roo. Didn’t expect to love this show as much as I did!
4. Rufus Du Sol - magical! Started my first trip of the weekend here and don’t regret a single moment of it. It was my first time seeing these guys and I’m already itching to see them again.
5. Alex Lahey- really fun daytime set! My sister and I were on the rail for this one, we had a blast!
6. Broken Social Scene - so excited to have finally see these folks! I didn’t realize their setup was so intricate, it was very cool to watch. They spread a lot of love at their set too.
7. Tash Sultana - holy shit, what a talented person! Tash continued to blow my mind with every different instrument, and I loved the vibe in general.
8. The Killers - really fun way to end Sunday! They were a lot better live than I anticipated.
9. STS9 - my second time seeing them at Roo but it was still a great time.
10. Kali Uchis - after hearing mixed reviews about her live performances I was apprehensive, but she knocked my socks off! I thought she sounded really great.

Trying to get a feel here since I didn't go. Was the Opry unimpressive or just badly attended? The BGS Superjam almost always got several Top 10 nods every year, but Opry got nothing, even with a number of artists being listed who, theoretically, would make Opry crossover likely (Sturgill, Old Crow, War and Treaty, Sheryl Crow).
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.
1: Muse (first headliner I’ve been in the pit for and so worth it, they blew my mind and the main reason I came back for my 6th year)
2: Pond
3: Chic (in the pit and it was an absolute dance party)
4: Sheryl Crow (pit)
5: Paramore (pit)
6: Sylvan Esso
7: Alt J (seen before, was better in an enclosed venue, but still great)
8: Eminem (going in with low expectations made me enjoy it a lot)
9: Anderson Paak. (I only know like two songs but he blew my mind, hope he gets so much bigger)
10: The Killers (good way to end Roo and I thought they sounded amazing, but I dunno if it was just me or if it was cause I was set up near the food on the left but the What field felt so empty and the sing along were so weak that I could barely hear anyone singing them and it made me sad for Roo)
Honerable Mentions: CloZee Jungle (great but I was “stuck” lol) Moon Taxi (always fun and you know they love playing the farm, beautiful sunset during and always funny to watch people get hit by giant beach balls.)
