Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Gotta say, even seeing the hottest take on this forum is still less worse than going on efestivals and seeing an entire page of people talking about how awful it would be if Bruce Springsteen played Glastonbury one day.
He played a weird set last time and efestivals believes if you play one shit set at Glastonbury you are shit forever.
X can’t play because they were naff last time is a common take there.
I'll be at Glasto. Anyone else going besides shuck who I saw on the roll call thread?
Hoping to go as an oxfam volunteer again!
Awesome, good luck with the volunteer signup when it comes out! Remind me how it works, you do a certain number of shifts and then you have free rein at all other times? Do you have any say over your shifts or is it all preassigned?

Thanks! Yeah you do three shifts - 1 overnight, 1 midday, 1 early morning and then you have free rein the rest of the time! The first shifts can start as early as Monday/Tuesday so it's very feasible to not have any overlap with the festival itself. Last time only one of my shifts happened when there was music playing! Unless you know the people booking the shifts you don't have a say in what you get initially, but you can trade with people! You have to trade all three though.
Some lineup news at the end of February, first poster in March, per Emily Eavis on twitter.
I expect that will be early in March to coincide with the balance payment week, but maybe not.
Well they have had a lineup release after the balance payment window before. But I think with her saying “full line up in March” that could be something else. The initial poster isnt the full line up, that covers the 5 main stages and is normally missing some names that dont appear til the schedule is out. Then the stages all release their line ups on their own. I still think there is a chance a name gets said on the radio appearance today anyway, but at least tempering expectations before going on the air was nice.

She clarified that the normal lineup poster will be in march, the full full lineup will be June.

So, quite normal really, ha.
Little Simz headlining West Holts. They had to giveaway one name on the radio at least.
I see you're more active on here than efestivals. You asked over there about applying for press accreditation, and someone noticed the website has updated to say applications are now open until March 25th: www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/contact/press/

Good luck with it!
Wonderful!! Thanks for keeping an eye out for me--let's hope I can make Glasto happen this year!

Fingers crossed for you!
Also, from profile snooping, I see you're big into Foals.
Seems to be good info that now QOTSA are no longer touring this year, their Other Stage headline slot they were pencilled in for for Friday is now gonna be filled by the Foals boys.
If all info is good, looks like we know who will be playing across the biggest 3 stages on Friday night: Billie Eilish, Foals, Little Simz.
Pretty good spread already, and that's before we find out who's on the Park, John Peel, and elsewhere that night (Manic Street Preachers? Primal Scream?)
My Glastonbury group chat has sprung into life again recently, adds a little festival stardust to otherwise dull weekday evenings. ^_^
Hope you got a good fare. And the UK dropped their testing requirement before flying and upon entry starting today. Now its a matter of being tested upon return if that requirement still stands in 4 months.
