With the Unfairground announcement I’m still feeling pretty bullish on the full thing coming out on the 24th. Seems like they’re cramming in a lot of announcements for it being late in the week.

Hopefully the Doja Cat thing doesnt throw them for a loop.
Well Doja Cat cancelling is official now but I doubt they’d replace her here. Just bump up Wolf Alice or Sam Fender or Lorde or whatever.
They have time, they can replace her. This isnt Foo Fighters with barely a week left. They can just leave the spot as TBA and put somebody in there. Libertines did that in 2015.
And Libertines are opening Other Stage apparently.
I have to say that I've found the area announcements interesting. I don't follow Glastonbury, so I don't know what I was expecting, but there doesn't seem to have been many big adds (beyond Calvin Harris). I was hoping for a few nice non-DJ adds (Soccer Mommy would have been good) but those haven't shown up yet. With Doja out, they are down one of the bigger names on the poster. It will be interesting to see if they replace Doja and/or who ends up in the final drop/list.
Admittedly, that's a little unfair as I'm not a big DJ/EDM fan and there certainly has been a massive amount of those names added....also, the original poster had enough great names that I'm not complaining. I have no doubt that I will be more concerned with the schedule clashes than I will be with the quality of the bands in the final lineup.

I think The Park had the biggest non-DJ add with Saint Etienne so far but they had also two really good early day adds with Yasmin Williams and Big Joanie:
edit: although my favorite band addition so far that I hadn't listened to before is Pigs x7 at Silver Hayes:
Liked the Yasmin Williams add. Hadn't heard Big Joanie before but I also liked some of their stuff. Pig x7 was a good listen but I'm having a hard time figuring out how they fit in with the other Silver Hayes electronic acts.
I haven't dug all the way through some of the bigger posters as it gets a bit tiring after listening to 20+ electronic/dj/pop acts in a row. I did think a few of the Acoustic Stage adds were good (Suzanne Vega) but I was also hoping for a couple of additional indie/alt bands sneaking into some of the area posters...maybe not at this point although maybe West Holts adds 1 or 2 new names.
In the end, definitely a first world problem given the original poster

The big adds come with the schedule and main poster announcement. Paolo Nutini looks to be one of them. There will be a handful of TBA spots on the schedule which will be reasonably large artists. In the year I went The Killers and Elbow were 2 of the big ones that did happen so Im not worried about what will go down next month. Florence apparently turned down a secret slot on The Park stage if you want some context for this year. Wolf Alice rumored for a BBC introducing spot. Overall you just dont see too many bands and such get announce pre main poster aside from The Park and West Holts posters. And The Crows nest which is in The Park area is a totally unannounced schedule all weekend. You have to go up there every morning to see who theyve got playing and its usually really good stuff and some acts that are way too big for that stage.
One schedule released. Goldie at 3PM could be cool.
Meanwhile, Neil is saying the Block 9 announcement is "about a week away" while insinuating the full lineup will be released on Tuesday. So that's something.
Yeah, military time for everything. Might I suggest changing your phone to it while youre at the festival.
I mean at this point if everything was ready to go for next week the Doja Cat issue would get resolved on its own. But its as if there must be single Area announcements or things arent complete. If it isnt the 24th they can still bust it out before the month ends. And considering everything has either been earlier than expected they hopefully keep that up.

West Holts updated socials so hopefully we have that in the next 24 hours. I think someone said JPT was also getting their own announcement? Should be a busy couple days ahead of the 30th.
Did anyone see anything about the Truth stage releasing their schedule? The core Glastonbury clashfinder updated today with that stage's times (but none of the other Shangri-La stages) and it has Kae Tempest and Pigs x7 on Thursday back to back which would be incredible so I'm hoping that's true.

Yeah, that whole lineup came up right before the whole user purge. Theres some images of it. Ill psate em in.
enormous lmao @ Jessie and Roisin now conflicting with each other.
So, will they also clash with Macca or does WH and Park close early enough that you could catch some of their set and get back over to the Pyramid?
I would like to catch at least some of Ware but no way am I missing Macca at Glastonbury.
No, WH ends about same time as Pyramid. Park on Sat and Sun ends after midnight. The only way to see either is leaving Macca after his main set and skip the encore.

They typically end around 11:45 PM with a few exceptions. My guess is Paul will have a similar time slot to Radiohead 2017 and go from 9:30-11:45. The Park closers go on later until about 12:15 and have about 75 minutes, so I’d guess Jessie goes from 11:00-12:15. WH closers end at 11:45 ish and have varied set times, I’d guess Roisin gets 60-75 minutes and goes from 10:30-11:45.
edit: also as Supre noted above you’ll also have to factor in walking time from Pyramid to either stage so you definitely won’t be able to see all 3. At least not easily and not for long.
Was expecting Caribou to close something so my Saturday headline slot just opened up. Might actually end up seeing first half of Macca and then head over to see Jessie Ware?
